This is like the coolest thing I’ve just found out about the night fae plate armor… if you wear a tabard, the chest piece overlaps it it sort of at the top but you can still see the tabard too.
I really really hope they design more armor like this in the future. It’s awesome!
Now I am hoping for more head options but like, scarfs or something that could also overlap other items like this does to create layered outfits! Something we still haven’t seen that I want is capes that wrap around our armor more like Uther and Arthas. An old style but it looks so heroic!

Nope, haven’t found armour that does this.
I only wear tabards when it’s to cover up the weird butt but I’ll check that out.
I didn’t know that was a thing now. Ty for the idea.

I think that’s just a result of the 3d pieces on certain armors clipping through the tabards which are basically painted on rather than something intentional. You’ll see a similar effect with the Authority of Maldraxxis or the Funerary Plate of the Chosen Dead, for example.

Tbh I never thought it could be from clipping, it looks so neat with this set. Clipping drives me crazy usually. Lol

I see so much potential for this stuff. I’m excited to see more.
Another thought, ripped or battle torn armor that you see something under like a tabard. Imagine seeing the horde/alliance symbol peeking through. Or for mail users you could see through the chain mail slightly.
I dunno. Just some fun ideas. Maybe they will make gear like that someday.
Clipping was one of the reasons I left KT, just couldn’t use any dangly/fancy belts with a robe.
I know for Worgen sometimes a helm looks goofy but being so limited with belts was awful.
Its nice when it works out and seems like this case its a fun sort of clip!

Sometimes clipping can work out. I usually avoid it though so maybe this isn’t clipping but intentional.
The art dept is great in this game.
