does anyone know if in the beta they have armor sets still? or will i need some kind of addon to switch to my healing or tanking set quickly?
Even if the answer is no, you don’t need an addon to tell the game to swap gear.

you know… i dont really know the answer to this. my default to this would be if it wasnt in vanilla it wont be in.
if not pop on an addon and it wont take up much memory i would assume.
I know there is an addon that does that. Used it in a pserver to swap from leveling to healing as a paladin.

You are looking for Outfitter
i never used anything like that till they built it into the game and now i just find it so much easier than searching and switching 15 times.
No - they dont have teh “set gear” function where you can click and change your equipped gear.
you click on them, and then they equip.
You can make macros for that without needing an addon.

Correct. Blizzard added it into the game after the popularity of Outfitter. In other words, it’s one of the addons they absorbed and added.
Item sets DID NOT exist in vanilla however so you will need an addon.
There has been no update on Outfitter yet on if they will update to Classic, however.
If I remember there was one called Item Rack too.
This was one of the things that I thought they were definitely going to add to the game, like the modern mail system.
