Armor Losing Durability in PVP

Hi. Blizzard, can you please fix this bug that causes my gear to break mid match or loses durability after the match. Even the tooltip loading screen when you enter world says that gear shouldn’t take durability points in pvp. This bug has unintentionally lost me arena matches. Ps: Voidchaos

And warlocks. First voidchaos take I agree with.

I thought this was for deaths only?
P sure any damage source damages armor, even from players (just at a significantly reduced rate)

It is this. I have given grotir at least a token and change in s1.

If it was full-on no durability loss in instanced pvp I think it would make a lot of ppl really happy tho. Great idea for a qol improvement.

All damage done will remove durability and break your weapon, all damage taken will remove durability and break your armor/gear. This is intended. The durability loss from death is what is disabled in PVP.

Not always, I’ve taken plenty of durability damage in Warrior/ret/rogue/feral lobbies, me being the rogue or place shadow priest where rogue is.

I always thought it was intended as a way to push people into buying more tokens.

When you die you take 10% durability loss anywhere outside of PvP. If that was true in PvP you would have to repair after like 10 games, and possibly even more often after only a couple bgs.

Here’s a link to the wiki for more clarification.

I would put this in the bug forums as well for ya.

You’re not intended to take durability loss from PVP combat.

It even says so in the wiki article you cited, presumably without reading.

They’ve had it as a loading screen tooltip for years.

You should probably read this part. Although I forgot to add that you only take 10% durability loss from dying outside of PvP like in raids, but I guess that’s why I linked the wiki for more clarification.

Appreciate your attempt to contribute, though, as always, even if it’s often incorrect.

I’m glad you at least clicked on the link so that you can now be aware that 10% durability loss doesn’t happen when you die in PvP.

Idk why Kennie is always saying something to you. My guess is because you can get in r1 range while not cozying up to their little club.

Congrats man, you don’t deserve all the negativity you get on here.

Hey what happened to that thread lol

My immediate guess was the little cabal Swole is standing up to didn’t like it. Everyone knows blizzard protects them because it helps wow token sales.

Quit ruining the game for everyone else :+1:
