I haven’t played wow in about 2-3 years and just started today. I logged into one of my characters and armies of legionfall quest pops up. I hit cancel (or maybe accept, don’t remember anymore) and the quest went away, then popped up about 5 seconds later. I hit accept (or maybe cancel, pretty sure the opposite of before), and the quest goes away and comes back again a few seconds later. The quest popping up closes whatever window I had open, including AH, other quest givers, he directions guy etc. Also, that quest is not in my quest log.
Please help, this is my bank alt and all my gold is on this character.
any word on this? i am having this issue also with one specific character
Accept the quest and then ignore it.
Blizzard designed this kind of pop-up quest to be impossible to decline. So complaining here doesn’t help: it’s not a bug because it’s working the way Blizz designed it.
If you accept the quest, it stops bothering you. It doesn’t nag you that you’ve got that quest in your log; the assumption is that you’ll get to it eventually.

i tried to do a ticket but they directed me here instead 
it sucks because it makes that one character completely unusable.
@Allpoc, i found a solution. it turns out the quest was actually in my quest log, even though it was constantly popping up. it will take some attempts but if you can get it declined that should stop them.

Had the same problem on an alt… hadn’t played in a couple years…it took about 15 mins but I found it in the quest log I right clicked and hit abandon quest and it seemed to work! Hope that helps someone else with this annoying problem.

I was able to fix it on mine, found it in the quest log and set it as the active quest. I then saw an additional optional task to use some portals to move around between cities, after completing those Archmage Kadgar showed up at Krasus’ Landing and I was able to complete the quest.
