During non-Mythic fights against Argus the Unmaker, several Constellar Designates come to his aid in phase 3.
Chronicles say that the Constellar were commissioned by the Titans to keep watch over planets. Does this mean that if a planet has a world-soul, the constellar assigned to it are also in charge of defending the awakened world-soul if necessary?
Also, if that’s the case, it’s interesting that we see seven Constellar Designates for Argus (on Heroic at least), whereas Azeroth only has one (Algalon) - what’s up with that?
The information surrounding Constellars is vague - purposefully so, the lore goes out of their way to call them mysterious. It’s possible that Algalon was simply one of several Constellars designated to Azeroth, and his prime directive was to scan for corruption and report back to the Pantheon.
One of the Constellars we slew in the Seat of the Pantheon possibly served this function for Argus - he was doing a pretty crap job clearly, considering the planet was corrupted heavily by both Fel AND Void.

You don’t fight Argus on Argus, you fight him at the Seat of the Pantheon. There’s obviously going to be Constellars around there.

They are specifically named “his” constellar designates by the Dungeon Journal more than once.
Stage Three: The Arcane Masters
When Argus reaches 40% health, he is sufficiently weakened such that Aman’Thul is able to subdue him with a Temporal Blast . However, the players must then contend with Argus’ Constellar Designates.
And:
Stage Four: The Gift of Life, the Forge of Loss
His Constellar Designates buying him the time to regain his strength, Argus kills the players with [Reap Soul]. All hope would be lost, were it not for the titans…
