In classic era, because the scourge invasion event never took place, another method of acquiring the argent dawn tabard should be implemented. Perhaps exalted reputation with the argent dawn. Or just have the event take place once a year. What are your thoughts.

The scourge event did take place though, just because its classic era now doesn’t mean it didn’t happen on those servers years prior.

Just because it took place years prior, that doesn’t mean it would be a bad thing to have reoccur. Many characters have been created since then that never got to experience the event or the unique dungeon/world bosses and quested items.

Era realms are fully mature. Things like scourge event, Angerforge dropping HoJ and pre-Bg wpvp will never happen again we can safely assume.
Some things will only be seen again on periodic fresh realms of presented.
Nonsense. Flip a switch and ol’ KT will get right back to chucking Scourge Crystals all over Azeroth. The Lava-running to emperor for HoJ is ultimately for the best. It has a higher droprate, more loot is found, and Ironfoe has a chance to be obtained!

Annual scourge event and aq gate opening is an obvious no brainer to make the game have reoccurring content for the world. We are all past any #nochange with this new pvp system, bring back the events on an annual basis to give people stuff to do for alts and let us farm oils/stones to play with in naxx.

I’m fine with the tabard and the other items like stones/oil available during the event from the vendor.
Things like titles or mounts should not be available imo so sorry wannabe bug lords but I’m totally fine with the war effort and the badges/supply crates or whatever they’re called that you get for turn ins.
I would still hold this position if the som refugees lost their bug mounts upon transferring to Era. Since they didn’t, I see nothing wrong with allowing Era toons a chance to aquire it.

I see your point. Probably more constistent than my own pov.
To elaborate on the why of my opinion, since it’s a “replay” or a reappearance of bugs/scourge and not the initial invasion but an additional battle then some of the conditions ie opening the gates aren’t happening.
Now if you’re advocating closing the gates to re-open them that’s a different matter.
