Argent Dawn Exalted FR Enchant

Did the long grind to Exalted with Argent Dawn this weekend. Many GM’s / officers may be on the same boat of trying to carry their guildies to getting all the FR they can, so I started this up to get my guild the +15 FR shoulder enchant. I figured it would act like the Hydraxian cloak enchant where you can at least enchant a BOE and trade it to someone; or even better, be able to enchant their gear for them like a normal enchanter. Come to find out, it is only for personal use

Wondering if this is intended to act as only a personal enchant? Or was this supposed to act like the other two options for FR enchants.

I made a post about this elsewhere, but the FR enchant from exalted AD has been entirely misplaced. This belongs on Hydraxian revered, or Thorium Brotherhood exalted.

The fact that its on Argent Dawn exalted and intended to be used in this phase is atrocious. At least move it to revered Argent Dawn.

Another huge oversight on Blizzards part.

Argent dawn rep isnt even hard to grind for people who can dedicate a bit of time to clearing strat/scholo

What exactly is a bit of time to you?

It’s on AD rep because the +5 shoulder enchants are also on AD and have been since original

Makes sense from that point of view

+15 to fire should probably be on revered so that it’s more accessible. Going from Revered → Exalted with AD is a grind and a half. The least efficient use of your time, by far. Better just to grind out crafted gear and skip that enchant when it’s on exalted.

A few hours? 3-5 hours a day, perhaps? Maybe a few splashes of argent dawn quests in between?

To get to exalted? 3-5 hours a day for how many days lol?

From day 1 of p4 to now, i guess? Idk brother im not a mathmagician

It doesnt help my point that i was one of those weird freaks that was grinding AD rep in p3

At revered, it took around 50+ Scholo’s/Strats with a 23 minute average clear time. That’s with a group that can really pump. I also had a few runs where I got every scourgestone, which is an additional 300ish rep. If you prepped correctly (I didn’t) you could shave off maybe 5 runs of this with questing. That would be 17 1/2 hours of straight grinding dungeons optimally… It’s definitely not an “easy” grind :stuck_out_tongue:

So that’s not a bit of time, and I’m not a mathmagician…

i have calculated ad revered to exalted to be around 25 -30 hours of being in scholo, its impossible to account for the variance in luck and the variance in how long it takes to make the group

that’s pretty hardcore for +10 fire res, I already cleared heat 3 and i didn’t do it and i don’t think anyone in my guild did either

Ok so a decent portion of one day, but over multiple days, yeah yeah thats not a bit blah blah

All i wanna say its not hard to do. Its not the difficulty, its the amount of time put into it and w/e

This game isn’t difficult in general.

The point is the time it takes is excessive for what it offers and the reputation its attached to currently.

Timbermaw rep isn’t difficult. But saying it only takes a bit of time to hit exalted is misleading.

Man casually admits that even with a head start he has sunk over 40 hours into AD exalted already but the rep is “easy”.
Maybe the task is not exactly mechanically difficult, making that kind of time is.

Yeah I’m relatively close to exalted with AD from running a bunch of Strath and Scholo for pre-bis/coin farming, but it slows down so much after hitting revered and I wouldn’t recommend doing the revered to exalted grind for essentially 10 FR. Unless you want to for other reasons (such as free Naxx attune, though again not really worth grinding).

The difficulty of “making time” varies from person to person i guess

Yeah from person to person as in, employed v unemployed I guess

:man_shrugging:

Regardless of employment(or lack of), it doesnt matter anymore
