Seeing the familiar names encouraged me to resub.
Before maining with Sictris (yes, previously one less “i”), I used to play a rogue, Sicxle. I was a member of the Epic Freedom Fighters.
If any of you remember Arcamenal, Gamalin, or Minnyamel, I can give them a hello for you but I don’t think they’ll be rejoining. I’ll be playing on Bloodsail. Looking forward to reliving classic with you all!

I remember you. I forget the name of my priest (my Mage was my main, called Squallhart), but I was always messaging you for tips because at the time I think you had benediction so in my eyes that meant you knew everything about everything.

Hi to anyone formerly in the Valiant Knights of Skye, especially a paladin named Caliope, who helped me out when I was a wee level 15 in Westfall and knew nothing, taking the time to teach me about rotations and talents. (I was 14 years old at the time) Miss those days!
Also if you’re out there, there were two fantastic warriors I used to PVP with, Milarkie and Zabusa. Zab might have been a paladin though, its been a while.

I used to be in a guild with a female human as guild lead. We did RP events. At level 60 you got an outfit that the guild farmed for constantly. It was blue with a silver sword.
In fact people found out we farmed certain items and they would sell them on the AH. They were useless otherwise so they put them up there to profit off us lol.
We would walk from storm wind to the human starting area and having meetings in our cool outfits .
I was the only gnome who ever got to wear one and at the time as a young kid I felt so proud. It took me 6-8 months to get to 60.
Later on I moved on to a raiding guild who’s name I forget. We cleared MC with 25 people, and ran the 20 man raids a lot. We tried to do BWL with 25 but BC came out before we were able to do it.
There was a human mage in my guild I would compete for the number 1 dps spot with. He was insanely smart, we came up with builds and tactics that would push our dps to the max. We even stopped spamming frost bolt because after some testing we found hitting frostobolt at a very specific time increased our DPS due to lag input. I don’t know if we were right, but who knows, we thought we were. There was no YouTube to find “best specs” back then. We did it ourselves
I went on to meet a Shadow priest who would go on to play the other expansions with me, and he was the main person I played with for years until cata came out and I stopped playing the game regularly (only play during a new xpac these days)
