Argent Conscript Gear not transmoggable on alts

I purchased a few pieces of the new pre-patch catch-up gear on a rogue, only to realize I couldn’t transmog it on a different level 50 rogue. Not sure if this is intended, but I just wanted to make it known if it wasn’t already.

If the items show as still having active sell-back time, then you may have to wait for that to expire before you can use the transmog on alts.

The gear is bound to you and non-returnable after you equip it, so I don’t think that is the reason why.

It seems like they take time to become transmoggable on other characters even after its been equipped. 4 plate items I’ve bought on alts weren’t showing on my main but after a couple hours they are. Don’t think I’ve seen this happen with vendor items like this before.

Does this include cross-faction unlocks?

This has been happening to me as well.
I haven’t finished collecting the leather pieces yet, but so far this bug has affected the Mail Boots, Mail Legs, and Leather Boots on Horde side.

SOLUTION: Putting the bugged items in the void storage and logging out seems to be a temporary fix to kick the system in the butt and make it recognize them as being learned. Try that and see if it helps.

Yea I had the same issue, can confirm this worked for me.

I can confirm throwing the set in Void Storage unlocked the set account wide, except for the cloak. It seems like the cloaks are still bugged in that way.

Cloaks seem to eventually appear in the transmog collection of alts of the same faction but not opposite faction

I can confirm I have this bug too. So annoying! Makes it really hard to keep track of what pieces I have collected and which ones I haven’t. Please fix this bliz.

I just posted this comment on another thread regarding the same problem
https://us.forums.blizzard.com/en/wow/t/argent-conscript-transmog-not-account-wide/715386/11?u=marwenna-azgalor

Noticed the same issue, I am doing the quests on both my DK and paladin to get the gear faster

Also confirming that it seems to be a bit random. The void storage “trick” mostly worked for me just now. I got the full plate and cloth set on horde characters. For the cloth set it seemed to work completely. The full set now shows as transmoggable on other horde alts and alliance alts. The plate set, however, shows fully available for other horde alts but for alliance alts only 8 out of 9 pieces (the cloak being the missing piece). Will see how it goes once I get the mail and leather sets. Either way, the ultimate conclusion is that this is a bug Blizz needs to fix eventually… :man_shrugging:

Same here! The void storage mostly works, and sometimes they magically appear on alts, other times they don’t. I hope this gets fixed and doesn’t get chalked up as ‘working as intended’.

I purchased the mog on my Priest, but doesn’t appear on my shaman. Should it appear later on or do I need to purchase the mail, leather, and plate versions as well?

Yes, it is cross-faction.

Yes, you’ll need to buy a set of each armor type, so you’ll need the mail set for your shaman. Unless they fix the transmog issues, you might have to do more of the above listed tricks (and get the cloak on opposite faction) to get all sets to appear on both factions.

I see. Thx for the info!

Some additional info here

Same here, even after days the transmog only becomes available when you Void Store it. Besides the cloak is never available on alts (including cross-faction) I’ll have to get the same cloak in other faction.
