My hardmode didn’t work for me last night and I don’t know why. If you talk to the middle wicker man it should apply all the curses right?

I ended up getting Arfus to drop twice yesterday. What sucks about this is that you can only have one in your collection. Which is stupid because now my options are keep the second in the bank or vendor it.
But I also still need the Saddle. So my Army of Alts™ continues to trudge through the boring crapshoot of killing the Horseman to try and get it.

Yes. As long as you talk to the middle it does all. I got the hardmode achieve done on my hunter using the center one, just have to also get mechanics right during the fight. Think a lot of guides missed that. I don’t yet have the pet.

First run on HM got the saddle, still no sign of Arfus. Why these just aren’t just put on a vendor at high cost so if you’re just unlucky you can still get the pet/reward you want is baffling to me.

I suggest this every year. I’ve gotten so many Horseman mounts over the years and it SUCKS knowing other players have been trying to get it for just as long. It’s nuts. There is zero reason why the old mount, at least, isn’t on the vendor for a huge stack of holiday currency by now.
At the very, absolute least we should be able to trade stuff with the group we’re in. That would add some human interaction to the runs, like trading candy after trick or treating. Instead of everyone leaving group without a word it would be normal for players to open their bags and trade stuff, maybe even congratulate and thank each other. Wouldn’t that be nice?

Unfortunately, now that Blizz allowed gold trading cross server in groups, people would just try to sell it for outrageous amounts of gold.

They should do both. Just cause something can be traded and others will charge crazy gold, doesn’t mean you pay it. Run with guildies and friends. That’s how I got the Time Reaver. Dropped for my buddy who had it already.
Anything in the loot bags can’t be traded. Mount, helm etc. Put this back on the body and let players do what they want.

Is there any other reason to do the full hardmode except for the achieve you get? Or is it for other stuff to.

can arfus be bought and sold on the AH or is it a BOP un-tradeable pet?
you “apparently” get increased chances at the good loot like pet, mount, dragon riding skin, etc.
i havent seen any of those yet though lol

Blizzard hates fun. If Blizzard detects people having fun they will take that fun out so people are not having fun anymore.
I honestly haven’t seen jack either. Both with curses on or off. Haven’t even seen that stupid scarlet key everyone was talking about either. I remember back in the day, you ran through library, and looted a chest. And boom you had a stupid scarlet key. Super easy.
Now, it’s like. For one, they never should have deleted that bullcorn in the first place.
But I noticed that the curses can just go away, and I read that it was some bullcorn with the boss uplifting the curses to keep you alive or something, and thus forfeiting the rewards. Does that mean it gives you zero percent chance then. Or is the extra higher percent chance just removed as a result.
I find this change, very annoying.

Why do you want to reward the gold barons for playing economics better than everybody else? That’s all that the high-priced mounts do.
