I mean, I’m being funny here but… The game is closed source. They could have some insane code in there that reads a player’s mind and then adjusts droprates and nobody besides blizz would know. Very very low chance / is impossible (hopefully), but it COULD be a thing lol

They even said they would raise the drop rate last year for the next event. Yea that hasn’t happened.

You can make level 10 alts and queue as much as you want.

Run it once a day per account with all curses. That’s your “big chance.” Which is still probably around 3%.

Wow. Grats. Any duplicates? Can’t remember my total, but I know I have maybe ~170 duplicates. Some of those were added for doing the pet dungeons. I have 3 Ikky for example and a couple Mecanical Pandarin Dragonling.
Edit: Looked it up 1230 with 153 duplicates.

Arfus makes me sad.
Mounts should be rare and hard to acquire. Like the Heartbreaker or Horseman’s Reins.
Pets less so. I didn’t get Arfus last year, and I’m desperately hoping I’ll get lucky this year.
Frankly, I think locking an adorable ghost dog behind RNG (and hard mode) on a limited time event is rude.

It’s just another chase item. Encourages people to do the dungeons more. If you have all the items already no one would queue.

I was gonna ask what is an Arfus but decided not to. Most of my mount/pet drops occur when I have no idea it’s there.
Like the first time running up the hill when Timeless Island patched in, there was a fight with a big dargon so I hit it and got a mount. And one in a dungeon in the sky.
So I don’t farm them, I get surprises. Works out better this way.
