Little weird asking are the raids post nerf cause we wiped on grulls first boss for a hour just cause rng one shots on our tanks lol and theyre geared
Maulgar was never nerfed.
Bosses that were nerfed are Gruul, Magtheridon, Nightbane, Hydross, Lurker, Morogrim, Vashj, Al’ar, Solarian and Kael.
And Archimonde and Reliquary in tier 6.
Bosses that received the heaviest nerfs are Nightbane, Magtheridon, Vashj, Solarian and Kael.

We grouped Maulgar up and kileld him in 40 seconds.
People were doing that before and after nerfs in Classic.

Your tank probably just lied. We got saved to a kara with a “BiS” Bear that didnt have crit immune.

How do you deal with the Kingler knockback and the Firehand aoe for example?
Is it grouping up next to wall, mad, mad heals?
I’m not expecting healers to be able to pump yet.

You zerg Maulgar cause if you kill him you win. I would not expect most groups to be capable of doing this though, ESPECIALLY on week 1. I assume there’s probably some deaths leading up to the kill, but so long as he dies you win. Don’t believe they all despawn on his death but they don’t respawn after.

Love how most the tanks that are getting slapped are pally’s who think Sp is king and do not have the required 490 def to not get slapped.

you don’t cleave them, you just focus maulgar and kill them at the end. the 40 second timer doesn’t include cleaning up the trash, or if it does then maulgar died at prob 20 seconds.
in logs the fight ends when maulgar dies iirc.
They need 490 def and also enough combined avoidance with Holy Shield up to not get crushing blowed. 102.4% avoidance iirc.

I know you’re being disingenuous with this question because last time TBC released in 2021 people were asking if it was post-nerf because of how easy the content is and Blizz had to come out and confirm it was pre-nerf. Now you’re trying to insinuate the opposite because your raid was bad? Hmmmm
