Putting this out there so hopefully blizzard can think about it before midnight launches. Arena and PvP needs more rewards in general (especially for losing). I joined the season late and love to PvP but doing arena in greens while everyone has 4 set is a horrible experience. I got almost no conquest for playing and winning 1 or 2 rounds of solo shuffle which made it very difficult to catch up in gear through playing arena. I ended up not playing arena and just crate farming until I had gear. I also had a bit higher mmr from last season which contributed to my struggle but I imagine this is still many people’s experience when first starting PvP.
People need to be incentivized to keep playing even if they lose. Give them more conquest (on loss) so they can catch up. give all participants other miscellaneous goods like crafting materials or more crafting recipes. Make the non-PvP rewards rain from the sky.
Right now the barrier to entry into arena/PvP is so high that most people will just leave. Most people won’t even bother to crate farm like I did. I think the cosmetic rewards are at a great spot and you don’t need anything else. PvP power rewards (conquest) and other random rewards need to be increased especially for losing. We want to attract and keep people who show interest in PvP. I personally love PvP and it’s what keeps me coming back to wow. I think wow and PvP is in a great spot but think we can always improve! Thanks
