Hey all,
I recently discovered I really enjoy watching Arena tournaments on YouTube. I am working my way through all the last two years.
Two Questions:
does blizzard follow a predictable schedule for AWC?
Are there any unofficial tournament leagues or commentators the same way there are for grubby and WC3 or WinterStarcraft for SC2?
Generally yeah. There’s usually 2-4 tournaments every season usually starting about a month into the season with a finals at the end of them.
There used to, but haven’t really been any big ones recently. Some streamers host super small community ones but that’s about it nowadays. Funnily enough the current awc was actually originally a community run tournament series but was eventually picked up by blizzard.
Yeah anyone with the skill to tryout for awc is still at the pinnacle of the game. But for giggles let’s settle it. You get your team vs his team and see who wins.
Yeah but not anyone does because we know we can’t cut it against the best. Like I said get your team vs his team and whoever wins has bragging rights.
Edit: you’re undoubtedly a good player I just think raisins might be a little better, I could be wrong.
Apologies, I forgot I lose to the players I’ve consistently played against and with for the last… 9? years, all while playing substantially inferior comps!
I mean, hey, what do I know. Close series against actual players rather than duelists like yourself is something anyone can do after all.
(I’ll wait for you to sign up and do better than us btw)
Whatever happened to the GCD tournaments? Are there other tournaments to watch other than AWC? Arena tournaments are some of the most exciting thing to watch in WoW. If there were more tournaments for people to watch, I think pvp would have a higher player count.
People have like 10 year old grudges and bring out screenshots from prior decades on people. Its hilarious how petty all these glads are + the never ending d measure contest of rating is funny too.
