Currently the PVP on twitch is in spring season, the NA and EU have their 4 teams that qualified for the LAN.
Recently two new races were released… The Kul Tirans ans The Zandalari!
I noticed that none of the teams were utilizing the new races. Is this because its still the Spring Season?
Also if thats the case when will they be able to utilize the new races?
dunno but the new races really dont have all that good racials for arena 3s.
Its really is hard to beat Orc 25% stun and lockout reduction or extra human trinket in this mana burn, stun heavy meta, dampener meta.
the only class that would play zandalari is pala but there are just better racials to have by far
and KT is godawful
they are indeed available for tournies right now but just aren’t good
I mean still though, the only pally that really played extensively in this arena tourney is rubcub, and the comp that has been giving him fits is DH/DK/rdruid.
Still no reason to take zandarali this xpack. A dh can actually cross tigers peak arena sooooooo quick you’d never really get any value outta it, its only gives health no mana.
Useful in somethin like 2s against non-mobile classes? sure. In current 3’s? heck no.
A 90 sec cd on trinket for a pally in a stun heavy is meta it stilll wayyyyyy to good.

i think zandalari gets a nice passive crit buff so pala sounds very good as a horde option

I just remember watching back when Demon Hunters were first released, those were not utilized on the twitch arena tournie for awhile either!
I dont play pvp so im not sure how the new races and classes work as far as those tournaments go. Just curious if they have to wait till a new season to be used or the following year?

they are 100% available
just trash tier racials so you aren’t seeing them
if they were good everyone would have been using them in the cups since they were released
if im not mistaken its 20% and it doesnt affect lockout duration

No they actually were disabled for this tournament, I believe they won’t be allowed until LAN
