Hello,

Just a few minutes ago I got disconnected from a solo shuffle lobby. I was still connected to battle.net services and my internet connection was fine - I’m in a voice chat and I could still be heard.

Once I tried to log in, I got the error: “A character with that name already exists.”, as you can see in the following picture:

I lost 100 CR rating from this. I can get it back but I would really like to see this fixed.

This happened at around 12:54 PM EST (give or take a minute) on November 1st, 2024. I hope this helps debug the lobby and what went wrong.

One thing I did is I traded my retribution paladin teammate 1 unit of Tricky Treat. It didn’t actually go through because it’s soulbound, but could be a cause of the bug.

Means your character is still logged into the game world. They will (generally) automatically log out between 5 minutes and 30 minutes. You can /who your alternate self, or just check their online status if you’re in the same guild to see when they go offline
