My arena partner and I both achieved 1920ish rating (Yes I know it’s not that great but we were pretty happy with it and were excited to get a title for it).
After the season ended we found we were missing our title (Should have been Challenger). Neither of us received a title.
We submitted a report but we got a generic response from blizz, reporting only the developers can fix it. We can even prove we were there on the ironforge pvp leaderboard season 10 2’s, but it doesn’t seem to mean anything. (Page 40 and 41 we are listed as of end date of season @ midnight)
Same thing happened to my 2’s partner and I, both similar rating as well. I submitted a ticket and got told they have reviewed their ‘resources’ and nothing indicates the automated system isn’t working as intended! I’ve heard it’s happened to a few people but worked for others. I.e my mate who had lower rating got the title.
Just anecdotally I have a few Duelist and rival characters that all got their titles, all my partners got their titles. Didn’t know this was an issue That sucks, hope it gets fixed guys
Makes me wonder if it’s maybe just some people who earned “Challenger” title (Would need more people to confirm that) that may be affected.
It’s rather strange we got nothing though. Even more odd is we know other people who were lower rating than us who received their title. We know there’s some pre-requisites too. Like 50 games etc. Which we’d played about 140 ish. So it can’t be that.
130 games for me. No reason not to have it. Interesting if it only affects challenger. I thought I saw a post about some one not getting duelist title.
That sucks. What’s “funny” is i’ve been wearing my duelist title that i earned in S8, when it’s supposed to go away after S9 (unless i got to a duelist rating again, which, i didn’t.)
I’m assuming blizzard doesn’t really care if i had to guess. They don’t strip titles and it doesn’t surprise me they aren’t awarding them either.
I logged in today and saw another DK with a Rival title and I felt inclined to check his rated arena stats through the achievement tab. His highest ratings achieved in every bracket are lower than mine, yet he’s Rival & I’m Challenger. Even if our current titles are still from S9 because 10 wasn’t awarded yet, I’m certain I was still above the Rival threshold more than this DK was. Titles aren’t account-wide here either so an alt with higher xp isn’t in the equation.
That sucks, hope it gets fixed guys
