Here’s my advice that comes with a risk…
Forget about rating…
Stack up arena points and buy discounted gear at the end of the season.
Here’s the risk…
It’s only an assumption they’ll allow that.

You can go 8-2 and be <1500 rating. If you win 80% of your matches, you should not be negative rating. Whoever arranged this is psychotic.

This expansion has been a disaster.
I don’t see it getting any better.
When they broke Vanilla-Anniversary that last patch it had, I knew somehow that would the norm going forward.
But it’s okay, because we got a post about the point calculation that doesn’t really matter and silence on every actual concern people have with the game.
Everyone has a choice to make going forward with how they’re rolling out their policy…
Play the game; take it as it is with a grain of salt…
Or get played by the game; delude yourself into thinking you are going to get customer service.

I think it’s because we start at 1500 CR but have 0 MMR. Which is super silly.
not sure how and what has to happen to make it “click” but after like 60-70 games my MMR started climbing rapidly and got 1700 in like an hour, during that we only gained points on wins and lost none on losses
why? you get plenty of points to buy gear now. Rating only matters for weapon and shoulders (unless you’re going for glad rewards of course)
The problem is they gave everyone 1500 rating but 0 mmr. So until your MMR catches up to your rating, a loss will costs you a lot of rating and a win will garner very little.
