The biggest issue is the amount of points people get is way lower than in original tbc. I know they do the whole 50% off at the end of the season, but that does little to motivate people to actually play more than 10 games. The majority of teams cannot get past 1400 rating whereas in original tbc 1500 was the baseline. Since new teams were always being created, there was a decent amount of rating inflation so it wasn’t too hard to maintain 1600+ rating and get quite a bit more points to buy gear.
