Arena matches seriously need a draw at a certain point. Its really silly to end up having both dps die and the match be healer vs healer(or warlock vs healer). There is no way to end the game unless someone is really really bad/goes for several hours and gear breaks/run out of water/someone leaves because the game will take several hours. Its not fun to watch its not fun to play in and its not pvp. Its not fair to have the match decided because someone just leaves because they can’t or don’t want to sit in the match forever.
Roll for it like we used to do back in the day.
Just go stand In middle and nuke each other. If you’re afraid of losing get better. Draws only help those who lose a lot.
thats one way of doing it lol…
There is a reason they added dampening
Because people were complaining about the same thing, “I can’t win fast enough”. Because they were more afraid of losing.
I think dampening was added more so they dont have to balance pvp and pve healing at the same time, but dampening doesn’t belong in TBC. Healers have to be able to heal through mythic raid damage and if they had that in pvp it would be silly, But yes it also does help matches end. In TBC there has been case of games going till someones gear breaks…
What if they made it so you can’t eat or drink in arenas? If you blow all your mana, youre vulnerable.
Just bring back “The Crowd Chose You!!!” Buff, that was fun
Actually no, because in WoTLK there were consistent 45 minute draws, and idc who you are, that’s just a waste of time.
So there was draws in wotlk, and you’re saying they’re wasteful but you say they should be in tbc?? Why?
Well retail has dampening… All I am talking about is 1v1’s that go for ever. When its still 2v2 its fair game there is kill potential. It is so silly to watch a 2 healers try to kill each other for an hour… there is NO kill potential it is purely who decides to leave first because they have prior engagements or can’t be bothered. It doesn’t feel good to win that way and it doesn’t feel good to lose that way. Take for example stalemates in chess no one has any offensive pieces and its a mutual decision to call a draw. Just wait till your in a 2 hour match with a resto and disc priest hitting each other with their melee weapon.
Honestly I wouldn’t mind it but I think it would still be so long that it’s better to just afk out right away unless you’re afraid you won’t be able to climb back up. Most of the time I run into this it’s in 2s where either both dps die or it’s a class that I (as a healer) could los and never lose to but also can’t ever win against like a warlock. Probably better to just take the loss, queue up right away and get the points back.
Lol, there is a reason I have you muted on the forums, best of luck out there
Yea this guys either a troll or too bad to understand simple game mechanics hence why i ignored him
Is it because I ask you questions that you don’t answer and defer to other things to make you seem better? Cool.
I’m just saying, if I posted something like you do, and got a reply like I give, I would run from it too. No reason to make yourself look bad twice right?
I am not afraid to lose rating its just lame to “lose” when they shouldn’t win either.
How about get better at duels so this is not an issue. Seriously if you let your partner die VS something like a resto Druid who can be very challenging to kill then that friend is your problem not ours.
These idiotic retail changes exist in retail, if you want those trash features to play under then go play that game. Some of us actually LIKE the long game.
