Arena lag manipulation and network deauthentication attacks rampant

people will glitch around a bit when they are lagging naturally and unnaturally the server has to fill in the location data for where the character is at the time in the world and looses the inbetween so they teleport ive seen a rogue freeze become immune to dmg for close to 27 secs and appear near their cap when log compensation kicks in

I feel like you’re lying because you need an immunity buff for it to work

as far as I know

I’ve seen it a couple times but it’s been only on immunity specs, and the only guy I’ve seen do it is banned as far as I know

Spotty net code/packet loss has been a thing in online games forever, and a lot of these just sound like standard server lag. It’s hard for WoW servers to reconcile the location of players in relation to each other, and things will always be a little bit off depending on your perspective. This can cause weird interactions with stuff like spell batching.

Especially if it’s an oceanic lobby, there’s probably close to half a second of delay between where you think you/they are and where they think you are. This results in janky stuff like people appearing to teleport glitch around, melee from 15yd away, spells to not work, etc.

Yea like there’s tons of bugs that cause desync rn as well, warrior fear is one. When you fear someone on a warrior sometimes they just glitch out like crazy and they feel impossible to hit.

He hasn’t gained any rating in the last 2 weeks, and I stopped seeing him in 2s. The vids that are surfacing now are just old ones as far as I know.

He was doing it in 3s on June 1st I bumped into him on an alt, probably has stopped since then indeed.

we are back baby my router was bricked had to install a managed switch outside my network to define traffic rules and filter out false arp request and ipv6 neighbor solicitation and other cheeky stuff like packets telling ethernet to go into power saving or sleep mode from unuse

still getting impv6 anbd impv4 ping requests and ipv4 frag packets when getting lagged out was fine all day until winning one too many tank blitzes i guess

Aint no way someone is DDosing a single person specifically for Blitz. For example the DDOS on the servers for classic during the wow hardcore raids never target a single person. Its just lag and disconnect with packet loss due to poor internet.

its a bit diffrent when you know most the people on the bracket and are sick of getting harrased and thrown on so you record it and are doing double the damage of ungeared people getting boosted effecting their bottom line more then others i dont care about notoriety or clout i just want to play the game and for this bs to end most people without a platform to speak from will just get lagged out via lua. yesterdays attacks where mostly quic and arp based my routers arp table was bricked and i was being quic flooded earlier today the attacks where ipv4 frag and icmp( ping) based i had to change my network rules to prevent them and send all my game and discord data through tunnel and vpn for them to function under load
