Yeah someone already said it CC would need to be changed ENTIRELY it’s not build for that kind of PvP as is and would need some crazy amount of attention that we know blizz will not give it

Fun fact: Arena PvP has never been balanced. The same 3 classes have been S++ every single season, 2 other S+ specs that are essentially round robin between the other classes usually and the rest are point cattle to be farmed by the aforementioned.
In Classic itd be, hilariously, the same 3 classes. Rogue, Mage, Priest. And they could get away with 3DPS disgustingly easy because of how powerful Shadow is when you cant reach it.
Add to that that rhe only classes in Classic that pose consistent threats to Rogues, Mages and Priests are other Rogues, Mages and Priests and everyone else had yet another version of the game where theyre sidelined while the Chosen Three are allowed to do as they please.
And the worst part? This is by design. Historically, any spec that isnt Frost, Sub or Disc that has posed a legitimate threat to Frost, Sub or Disc gets kneecapped by Blizzard so fast itd set a speed record. I picked up on that the first go-around in Wrath and noticed itd always been the case beforehand. And its always been the case since.

If youre dumb enough to try hardcasting inside 20 yards maybe. Mages have the same baseline slow % as Shaman and deep Frost snares equal to Crippling. Meaning you literally can walk away from the Shaman.

A ranged hamstring with a cooldown and moderate damage for Enh. That shares a cooldown with Earth Shock.
Im not even going to mention Elemental because if youre losing to Ele as a Mage youve got bigger problems.
Earth Shock is 20 yards. Counterspell is 30. Frostbolt is 30 and rank 1 is a 1.5s cast. They have no way to clear snares. They have no way to clear roots. Once every 15 seconds they can ground 1 spell (the cooldown lines up really well with fireblast if you hadnt noticed yet). Theyre Warriors with no Charge, no Intercept and a ranged kick. If youre losing to Enhancement thats on you.

I hope never, I’m just going to say it because it’s true but rating systems do not belong in a piss easy game and do way more harm than good

I feel like this is a relatively easy fix. They already have the implementation that Player characters get treated differently than NPCs (i.e. if you have 1 weapon skill and attack a player the hit restriction is removed [though you have less crit] but try to fight an NPC with 1 weapon skill and you wont hit and if you do you deal no damage). Changing the interaction of abilities like sap, poly, roots to cap at 10 seconds in pvp scenarios is a relatively easy fix.
But this is far from Arena classics biggest problem. Its pretty obvious the most impactful pvp classes are Rogue, Mage, Priest, and then Warlocks would be a good 4th. Beyond that most other classes are okay at best with some being awful.
I think a possible solution to this issue is no teams smaller than 5. I think a diverse team of 5 would beat any weird “only S tier” class comp (2 ice mages 2 rogues and a shadow priest).
The next thing theyd have to tackle is does this game mode reward anything? Is it just there for ego stroking? If it rewards honor how does this compare to running WSG or AV or AB
it has a chance to break early every pulse, and there’s plenty of ways to break it yourself 
try restorative pots.
It’s not going to happen probably because it’s a really dumb and bad idea.
