ok but A. he doesnt do it for gold, B. this doesnt show that they are that common, and C. what exactly is his “carry” winning? they get to have fun with their favorite streamer? how is that detrimental to the game?

does it happen? sure. but are the brackets “full” of these carries? i dont think so. i think carries are probably extremely rare to be honest. this idea of “full of carries” hasnt been my experience so i would need some sort of proof to be convinced otherwise.

Its actually not though.
Bloomsday asked everyone for videos or clips of their arena matches when they had complaints and Fake-Bloomsday defaults straight to criticizing what the players in question didn’t say they did.
Don’t even get me started in the difference in syntax between the two.

Extremely common! If I had 10 gold for every time I lost in the 1300-1400 bracket and then looked at their armory to see one had a 233 ilvl Elite weapon, I could buy a carry and finally get past 1400

They get gear that they didn’t earn on their own merit at the expense of making it harder for legitimate teams to progress.

Have also been seeing a lot of carries. Sitting at ~211 and many people without buffs dwarfing HP. Don’t generally use i-lvl as a crutch, but it is insane seeing people with 42khp at lower brackets.
3’s Bracket by far feels a lot healthier. Usually if we lose it is due to a mistake where we cannot cover over cheese (stunning / fearing combusts, intercepting convokes, etc).

2s is the bracket I play with all my friends, from 1600 to 2200.
There is a problem when I go from playing Ret/Enh at 2200 and then queuing with my buddy’s warrior at 1600 MMR, but I’m not doing anything wrong for playing with my friends.
What’s the solution to this problem? Even if gear is equalized, people would still be running into Glads at 1600 mmr.
anyone part of a boosting community knows there are massive backlogs for pvp carries atm. honestly not even sure what the solution would be at this point.
Me and my partner que’d into a match tonight with a 22k hp monk and a 37k hp mage in 2’s at 1200cr. We definitely raised our eyebrows.
We put out the monk like he was a small fire, of course, and ultimately won. But yeah, carries are real.
