Areas that force you into ground mount form

Does anyone else have an issue with areas that force you into ground mount mode ? I find it very annoying that even after leaving these areas you can not jump to re enter flight mode, you have to toggle the shape shift off/on.

Is there a way around this that I do not know about? Real annoying to not be able to just jump once you have left the area to re enter flgiht form vs ground stag.

For an example of what I mean, goto Stormwind and approach Genn Greymane for the current prepatch content, its forces you into ground mount form as you approach him, no way to re eneter bird form until u toggle on/off (at least that I know of).

So I found a work around, get the book in moonglade that allows a separate button called mount form, this button strictly looks like its for stag form only, pressing this stag form button after being forced ground seems to do the trick, not super obvious that it would work or do that for you, I was thinking it was just going to make me the stag which I already was due to the forced grounding area.

I had this problem.

For some unexplained reason, if I attempt to cast rejuvenate on myself while in stag, it will shift back into flight form.

I’ve found that activating mount form while in mount form will switch me to flight form. So I just do that with my travels

Sounds like a bug to me, but I’ll take it. I’ve been shifting out of travel form and back in, but I agree that the extra step is irritating. Thanks for the tip! =)
