Been waiting since 3400 in queue and just got under 1700. Got in queue at 7pm and it’s almost 8:30pm. I haven’t even gotten to level because I was waiting on my husband yesterday, who never got past the Maw because of how many times he dc’d before he gave up.
Just… feels bad man.
I started mine at 7:15 and I was 4.9k in queue. I’m only down to 3.6k, from friends logging in (or trying to) right now the queue is at 6200.
perhaps it is time for legal action
yea ive been on area 52 for a good many years and on other full realms and have never seen que times this high. Even coming from lothar to A52 when BC launched the que size wasnt this large on lothar and i took that free transfer lol

Perhaps don’t roll on the largest/busiest realm in the entire game…precisely for times such as expansion drops. You knew this was coming.
I haven’t had a single issue on Proudmoore, Hyjal, or even Tich.

it took me 2h to get on area 52, the sad thing is that blizzard don’t seem to acknowledge that there is a big problem for thousand of players who pay to play

Got to play a bit during the day. Had to go pick someone up for work around 3pm CST and got hit with a 90+ minute wait. Got to play for 30 minutes and then got DC’ed. Just finished watching the entirety of Man of Steel and still have 1200 people in front of me. Been on this server since WoD and this is just nuts.
I managed to get to 54, so I’m glad I got to play a little. However I’m one of the lucky ones who aren’t on a time crunch to play. I can understand why people are so mad. All I see is posts about the queue time on Area 52 and Illidan. Are there other realms that are having this problem, and is there anything that can be done to mitigate this. With the way this looks it’s going to be stupid until the few that can play get to max level stop playing so much.
Only thing they could do would be increase the server size, to accommodate for the fact that its one of the more popular servers. Otherwise best time to play is during the day time, seeing as from about 5 P.M.-1 A.M. is peak server time. After that its fine and smooth as butter, but during peak time its laggy and choppy as heck.
