Personally sitting and waiting for 8.2/Classic wow, if one doesn’t work out, I at least know i’ll enjoy classic.
What about you?
And remember, unsubbed or not, your opinions matter!

Waiting for 8.2, not sure how long I’ll stay around for that. I’ll play classic for at least a month or two. The days of getting a 6 month sub are long gone.
Subbed but not really playing at the moment, if that counts? Waiting for 8.2…hoping it comes out before June 28th because if not I will be busy elsewhere.
Waiting on Classic. I kept coming back every 6 months or so and would stick around for a month or two before getting bored and quitting again.
Think it’s time for me to accept that current WoW just isn’t the same game that I once enjoyed. No reason to keep coming back (except for Classic) when I know how it’ll end.
Unsubbed for over a month now.
I find 8.2 uninteresting simply because classes are horribly bland and boring and they are steadfast in not changing them but are more than happy investing development time into daily hubs, raids, and generally repetitive content that will only be fun if classes are fun anyway. Like here, let me slap this bandaid on here and instead of lancing your absess.
It’s a shame that classic, a 15 year old game, is more appealing to me and I will be dabbling in it very casually.
To be honest, I’m actually on the verge of unsubbing or staying subbed for Classic. If the stories with Lor’themar joining Saurfang’s and Thrall’s rebellion are true and then due to game mechanics, my character as a ‘loyalist’ is “forced” to go against Sylvanas will happen? I’ll play it out but that will be it. I cant see myself ‘race changing’ to Alliance and I’m keen on Classic, as a role player and ‘loyalist’ to Sylvanas’s Horde, I cant justify staying around after all that happens.
6 days left. No plans to return, will follow the trend of:
-Get “newest” expansion a year later on a black friday sale.
-Play for 2 months during buildup to next xpac/prepatch.
This way I get:
-An expansion for what it’s actually worth.
-The exact same story as those that played non stop from day 1, sans Timegates.
-Get full benefit from all the “catchup” systems to be up to par on gear in a weekend.
-Avoid the X.0-X.2 Paid beta period.
-A decent version of the game.
You miss the only reason I even play MMOs.
Friends/Guildies.
Still Subbed but not really playing all that much. Do a mythic+ with friends once or twice a week and thats about it.
Sub is up tomorrow. Prolly take a break till just before 8.2 unless gold sub prices fall in the range I like.
While waiting I will check on my Crowfall beta phase. I think it is close to my phase so would like to give it a shot before I think about buying it. Nothing worse then wasting money on a game you don’t play. A ton of other games coming out in the next year I want to give a shot and some are PvP oriented. WoW PvP sucks right now because the classes are not fun imo.
Waiting for Classic. I tried to like BfA
Love how these forums still aren’t fixed and unsubbed people are still posting.
One could argue that unsubbed people have the right to talk about the game’s state as well.
Maybe that was the intention all along, to allow people not subbed to post? I wonder how dead the forum would be if people who aren’t subbed weren’t allowed to post?
Allowing unsubs to post is a relatively recent bug. Forums weren’t dead before, even in WoD, and there is no reason to believe they would be now other than it feeds into the “lol Blizz allows us to post because game is dead” tripe.
I never said you couldn’t. Unsubbed have access to some forums and not all. GD and others are part of paying a sub. They’re not a right, they’re a perk for paying customers.
It wasn’t. It was a bug. And what Meritha said.
Currently unsubbed, but can play until Tuesday (May 23rd) dont believe I will resub until after summer. Not interested in Classic, been there done that. Ill wait until after 8.2 and read the boards, to see what the state of the game is, not expecting much.
It’s not relatively new, it’s been this way since the new forum came about. If it is, in fact, a bug then it’s pretty pathetic a multi-billion dollar company can’t fix it faster than this lol.
No it wasn’t. It was a few months after that it happened and a ticket response said it was a bug they were working on.
I’ve been unsubbed for about 6 months and desperately want a reason to come back. Have been just listening to audible Warcraft books to get me hyped up and dive back into the world
