Finally our time has come! With each passing expansion and hopes for them to be playable, I mean we really do try to play them but they are just to far gone. With BFA finished and most of us been Unsubbed since last year with the failure this expansion brought. We knew at least we had Classic waiting in the wings.
Lets return home, lets get back to a superior game in every way. Bring on Classic and some of the greatest PvP this game has ever saw.
We have 1 day. To finally have a playable version of WoW again to immerse ourselves in. Who here is grinding PvP ranks!!
You want vendors??? Bingo, Classic has them
You want Class roles??? Bingo, Classic has that
You want deep character design and Talent trees?? Bingo…
Now we can make some real builds again and play the game how we want!
Classic the Future of WoW
I will say that TBC was the greatest version of this game we ever saw. It took Vanilla and completed it. We will also have TBC servers at some point. Funny when the best the Devs can do is give us the old game that was indeed so much better.
I really hope whoever plays classic gets the satisfaction they’re looking for. My false hope is that if classic holds steady activity of at least 1MM subs through the end of the year then maybe (just maybe) we’ll see large overhauls in future retail expansions.
It will be satisfying!! It’s an amazing game!! Classic Subs will dwarf retail! So don’t worry about that. Easily will have 5 million Subs but my prediction would be 10+ million. Keep in mind 10 million people came back for WoD because it was hyped. There are a lot of people that just want a great World of Warcraft game again. Each expansion is a supreme disappointment and that is why Classic is coming!!
Classic has way better PvP as well and better Esports potential. When Dueling tournaments get 5-10 times that of Retail Arena which isn’t even PvP anymore… Blizzard will have to act and take a deep look at game design philosophy.
Classic is the Future of WoW because it now will change it forever. Players want TBC server now or WoW 2.0 and the clear message being sent to Blizzard is we absolutely hate your current product and hated it for many years!! It’s trash and needs to go back to the way it was. Or just create WoW 2 where you take the old features of the game and create a better product for Retail. Old talent trees, class design, Vendors etc etc etc…
Haha… well Classic is coming so going back to my roots. Ditching the Abomb name… I will be playing Prot though We finally have World of Warcraft again!
Edit - Just to add to why that is easily achievable. Lightshope has DC their P servers to promote Classic. Of course there are a lot more people that never played Privately but lets look at the numbers posted from another thread.
I wish I could share you guys enthusiasm about classic. I really do. But 1.) I play a warrior. And I hear that leveling a warrior in classic is really awful. 2.) I hear warriors in classic scale with gear so yeah. Not looking forward to it.
My first toon was a warrior in actual vanilla. Really did suck to level But what it had that others didn’t is they scale so well with weapons that any weapon u find feels sooooo damn good. Its liek getting that 450 socketted unnerfed leviathans lure
I’m super excited for simply the sense of adventure in an open world. For the nostalgia. For class design that, forget if it was better or not, was just so much DIFFERENT than now. For skillcap that’s likely higher despite some horrible imbalance. Really after BfA hit and felt like nothing but a Legion content patch I’m excited for a new feel through something old.
As far as vendors go, however, I would point out raid gear is vastly superior in PvP to any alternative and you’re competing for like 2-3 drops per boss with 39 other people. Way slower process than live.
EDIT: Also just super excited for dumb drama and things like kiting Kazzak to SW, Azuregos to Org, blood plague, etc. All better make it live in classic.
It won’t be that bad it’s over hyped cause you aren’t a mage spamming Explosion and all types of AoE. However you can find good AoE groups to farm with and Warrior is best Dps and Tank in the game with gear. Not to mention how great all the old gear feels when you get powerful upgrades you play all day because it’s awesome.
More gear the better yea but it’s not hard to find these weapon and BS profession back then actually had BiS items for warrior early on like Lionheart helm. Just get some gold supply and have some BiS gear crafted and you are more on your way to being the best.
Classic was far more balanced PvP than Retail could ever hope to be. It accomplished this by having clear class roles. Niche things you actually bring to the table and you can make up for weaknesses with Professions and items. It was the perfect balance for an RPG game.
In B4 but wait Retail has Blah…blah…blah… One word - Dampening. Retail isn’t even close to balanced. If it was there would be no Dampening
