One patch closer to playable Vulpera. Very excited!
Honestly my expectations are so low that currently i’m only happy about the azerite vendor and the gcd being removed from another ability. The story is 100% gonna be timegated again and we are gonna have another warfront and 2 island expedition maps…woo.
New raid comes sometime in jan and i’m not sure what else there is to actually be excited about. Those huge class changes that had to wait til 8.1 because they “didn’t have enough time” are very lackluster and could have been implemented in a hotfix rather than a major patch.
Much better Azerite traits, new lore, and most of all: new paladin wings AAAAAAAAAAAAAA
Pretty much this. I feel like they added a lot, but none of it fixes what’s terrible about BFA. I know 8.1 also brings some spec fixes but honestly, I feel like it’s too late. I mean we had specs that weren’t even touched on in prepatch and are just now getting their fixes. That’s not okay.
My toon is ready but I’m not bothering with the Patch as that patch just seems like it’s a patch that’s not meant for my toon but more for Horde Players.
I am over the moon about the multi-threading change. Anything to boost my FPS while raiding is beyond welcomed from my point of view!
But if I was most excited about one thing in all of the patch besides that it would be the implementation of vendors who offer gear and other useful or fun things. The thing is that admittedly I believe the content in patch 8.1 should’ve been included in the release of BFA.
Regardless, /clap 8.1
I’m excited for the boosts to leveling xp, but that’s about it There’s honestly not a ton to look forward to.
Multi threading and rep changes.
The biggest thing that really irritates me is the community gave very well thought out concerns and feedback about every problem with BFA during beta/alpha and they were either ignored or put off saying “we need more people to get their hands on them”.
The class development forums during BFA beta were filled with feedback from credible sources and were just ignored.
sweet! faction specific patches!
Seems to be the running theme for AAA companies. They open up beta, people tell them there’s bugs, they decide to release it anyways or wait 5 months to fix something. Look no further than Fallout 76 or our very own BFA.
I’m ready to get mad on each day an azerite cache isn’t the emissary reward for the first 2 weeks.
Yes, I’ve been waiting for Blizzard to release Kul Tiran Humans and I curmudgeonly gripe to myself that I should not have purchased a 6 month sub since the new Allied Race has not been released. I was dumb to assume an advertised feature would be available to consumers. I should have waited until I could play the race.
What is there to be ready for? There will be some quests and a new warfront. Nothing else comes until next year. I don’t even think there is an ilevel boost.
Only thing I am looking forward to is more cageable battle pets from the Island Expeditions.
Multi threading +1
Hoping that they actually make leveling where I will work on that. I miss leveling as it was before the nerfs of 7.2.5
If I can’t stand leveling again, then I’ll be sore pushed to just unsub until flying is in game and catch up in place.
Do think having a shot at 370 weapons from incursions or invasions or whatever they are called will come in handy. Azerite armor not so much.
Also hoping that the warfront gear upgrades to a base of at least 370 with 385 for the quest piece and world boss mob.
Still not seeing much anchor weed, wish that they would fix that beyond seeing one node every week or so.
Depending on what they do to blood DK I may need to farm two 370 one handers for frost.
Also will finish leveling my lock and work on gearing since they seem to understand that weapons need to be available beyond M+ / Raids.
Still wishing for honor / conquest pvp gear vendors.
I’m looking forward to it!
Not quite ready - I will have to pick up the pace on Zandalar a bit, and finally get Tym to 120 for his heritage armor.
I’m disappointed with the patch, but I’ll still check it out. What kills me is that I know, even if I stick with it, I have friends who are done. Not everyone is willing to stick with it and my friends list is getting thin.
This is what I’m most excited for! And the rep bonuses so I can finally get those Allied Races unlocked.
