Are you playing Retail and Classic Or Just 1 Exclusively?

I only log on to raid on Retail (4x a week) and then play Classic to actually enjoy the rest of the non-raiding game. World content is awful in BFA and the majority of the things in this game are totally meaningless (Warfronts, islands, etc lmao), so Classic is a good substitute. But raiding is always my #1

I only play BFA because this is who I am now.

I just don’t have time for classic. I’d like to have some first-hand experience before asserting armchair dev opinions, but my todo list is crowded and even if I get down to the bottom of my wow activities, classic isn’t top of the list of other games I feel I should try.

Both, although I likely play Retail more. I play Classic mostly because I was Horde during the Vanilla time frame so didn’t see most of the Alliance side quests.

I play both and enjoy both! Really happy with Classic being out now. Gives me more to do in WoW.

I play both, but mostly in retail cuz you know transmogs and pets and i have about 20 level 120’s that keep me going

I played Classic for the past few days and realized, yeah, no I don’t want to do Vanilla all over again.

The pace of combat made me grind my teeth. I’ve noticed the queues have dropped significantly as well from about 8,000 a week ago to around 500 last night.

I’ve been doing both, but with an unbalanced split of 20% Retail, 80% Classic. My main’s guild has been running dungeons with a good group, so it’s been really fun. And our Classic guild has been steadily picking up people and many have been sticking with Classic and getting more involved.

I tried to get some people to do a couple things together back in Retail a couple of times, but I got no takers. And merch on the AH back in Retail is moving really, really slowly since Classic launched. I don’t know if it’s like that on other servers, but on mine it’s been quite a change from pre-Classic, and the economy wasn’t exactly bustling then, either. Now it’s just abysmal.

When faced with grinding Naz or MechGnomeVille for rare drops from the same rares over and over, vs. fun group content back in those original long dungeons of Classic hoping for that one drop for each of us that will last us for the next 10-12 levels and the feeling when it finally drops, it really isn’t much of a choice right now for me or most everyone else in my guild.

/moo :cow:

I am playing both, more retail than classic but I did binge a bit yesterday and played classic for like 6 hours straight.

I mess around with both. I really have a more preference for the old style forsaken, night elf and orc looks. So sometimes just play for that alone.

Retail. Have a couple of toons that I have had since 2005, not including a few I have made since the wolk days. Not about to abandon them, and start from scratch now lol.

Don’t even have classic installed and never will install it having more fun staying in retail while ignoring classic.

I have been playing more retail for PVP but I love to PVE in classic.

My friends and I havent logged into retail since classic launch. I didnt realize how much the game had changed from the game I grew up loving until I started playing classic again.

I’m playing both. I do my dailies and emissaries to keep my main retail dude up to code, then switch to classic which has been taking up the majority of play time.

As others, both have their pro’s and con’s. The main ones being, the classic leveling experience feels SO much more rewarding. Each level gained feels like a huge increase in power, each talent point feels like your upgrading your character and training spells feels much more worth it.

Having said that… the combat pace I will declare retail the victor. As much as classic combat is relaxing, I much prefer the faster pace of retail. More mechanics, more buttons, you can always press something.

There are obviously endless pro’s and con’s, but those are the 2 biggies for me on why I play both.

Please post this in the Classic forums going forward. Some of us would like to talk about a game that matters.

I played both now I am not playing neither. I be just a forum lurker.

MEEEEEEH

Lmao it’s okay to be jealous

Could care less about classic. TBC was super similar to Vanilla, and played enough to lose interest in WoW back in those days. So yeah, im happy without it.

I play both. But Classic doesn’t matter. It’s a finite game.
