Right now classic. But only because I was taking a break from BFA even
before classic was available.
I’m not scared of anything, All I’m literally saying is that if you somehow turn Retail WoW, into the same garbage slow slog like Classic, I’ll simply find a different game to play, and I severely doubt I am the only one thinking the same thing.
If you want that 15 year old unoptimized clunky feeling, stay in classic. Retail doesn’t need it.
Leveling is in a place where its still too long for people to solo quest who just want to pvp/raid/make gold/heritage armor on another class, yet its not engaging enough for people who want to enjoy the journey to max level. Its not that beneficial to group up for leveling, and hardly dangerous enough to use utility/defensive abilities.
There’s things Blizz could do to help both sides, the people who only care for max level, and the people who care for the journey there.
Classic and FFXIV.
I’ll never return to retail WoW, unless they revert a vast majority of their systems back to older ones.
tried classic and immediately got bored when it triggered the burnout I had with vanilla tons of years ago. Nothing new or exciting there.
BfA is an RNG grindfest that is so different from BC/LK/Cata/MoP. Just always feel like my time is being wasted for nothing. Barely playing BfA.
I only ever really played wow very long for pvp. Without pvp gearing I lose almost all of my interest in this game. BfA tossed conquest/honor vendor system in the trash and also tossed out most of my interest in the game.
Lack of tier sets in LFR didn’t help. Nor did grinding my abilities at 20-50 hours each (essences). This game is just a disaster under Ion, Team B, and his diablo devs.
Retail exclusively, Blizz isn’t likely to pay me the 6-figure bonus it’d take for me to play classic.
That being said I’m glad it’s there for those who like that style of play. I just hope blizz doesn’t listen to all the threads clamoring for parts of classic to be merged into retail, and vice-versa. Keep them separate, keep them safe.
Today I did Hogger and MSQ roulette.
At the same time.
I’ve evolved.
For today’s dr phil’s show… I personally, just play retail. Classic doesn’t entice me enough.
retail exclusively. No time or interest in classic.
I just want to hit 60 in vanilla just to be safe and not be so behind if there is still so many playing classic after 5 or 6 months
You nailed it with the drawbacks of BFA vs classic.
Make leveling harder next expo like classic please!
Reliving classic, maintaining in retail. Going with the flow, WoW is WoW.
Retail exclusively. I tried Classic for a little brief time…made it to Goldshire basically before I lost interest. Played it before long ago, but nowadays it’s not really my thing.
yupp same here
playing both. classic gets tedious, and its not interesting to me till ATLEAST phase 2, so im taking my time, switching back and forth, im only at level 45
Classic exclusively. I will probably delete retail as I have no use for it. Finally had found a community in the 119 bgs and then they deleted it so they basically deleted me from the game.
Classic-wotlk is all I’ll ever play again.
Why not just avoid using heirlooms for non max characters? Why should they use the classic model of artificially increasing difficulty?
Have not logged on retail since classic came out and actually have been enjoying it.
Classic til next expansion, id rather play nothing than play BFA.
Both, I follow the story and love playing as goblins, but Classic has superior rpg elements.
Only World of Warcraft. No classic for me. Been there done that.
