The war effort ended early, opened in the middle of the night the DAY before it should have, some of us have spent HOURS farming for our guild hoping to enjoy the event. Took time off work to enjoy the event tomorrow on Nightslayer. You released this early, we missed the banging of the gong, and the ONE time event. Sure some of you experienced this many times, but this is the first time for many of us. This is unacceptable. Fix this.

What does this quote have to do with the event coming out early. If anything this would of delayed it even more.
This was in reference to EU gates opening days early.
Now Nightslayer has opened, people are running AQ20/40 right now. They let the same bug happen twice.

never follow timelines on any tbc part events. they had off times.
And wrath classic part 2. We saw final prelude stage event come waaaaaay early too. We got to start it early as the devs were all in bed since it be dead of night for them. OCE/asia gets to see thisa fair bit.
and 2019 series has had many cases of OCE servers getting stuff first. Like +13 hours sooner first. Dateline time adjustment games cause those when not coded right.

Dreamscythe opened early today too. Our 5 day event lasted 3 and a half days. Even though I was there 24/7 from this morning, grinding out all my steps, it won’t be enough.
Hopefully we get a gate-reset back to the intended timeframe over here as well. gg

Yeah, one of our scarab lords got rekt too by the early opening. We were all set to have MC tomorrow and be DONE, but no… we had to rush all night and scrape together a pug (that failed) and ended up with nothing after thousands of gold on mats and hours grinding bugs. Because Blizzard can’t count to five.
I took a PTO for tomorrow… I cancelled my hair appointment for this. I know people are gonna say “loser” and “never prioritize a game over real life”, but how we choose to spend our lives is OUR business and I chose my friends over a single day at work to make some good memories and enjoy the game I pay for.

This really does look pretty bad; it seems like the whole event was plagued with issues.
It would be great for Blizzard to comment, and hopefully give an extension to complete the chain given how much whiplash they’ve given the community.
