Personally, I love people who derive their self-worth from pee vee pee in a 20 year old game and get extremely mad at the thought of other people having the same stuff as them.

there is something to be said for “everyone gets relatively easy (compared to the old system) access to pvp gear” let skill decide it not gear
and with the shortened content cycle extra gear has to come from somewhere.
Sweaties are sweating hard cause people gonna have significant gear and they not gonna be oneshotable
people who are scared that casual players get R14 gears are bad at PvP

Didn’t they change it to the SoD system shortly before Anni release?
I know at one point there was decay within a rank, but you couldn’t lose rank.

yes there is, if you do 499k honor instead of 500k honor cap, you lose all the 499k you did and have to restart from 0 the next week

Given the Lionheart helmet is obnoxiously expensive and majorly lacks stamina, and the executioners helmet isn’t in the game yet.
As a warrior player I am very much looking forward to getting that blue helmet with the chonky stam/str crit and hit

there is no rank decay ok, but there is honor decay or whatever you call it
back with the old system we could just do 15 HKS per week to never decay → now you have to do 500k honor, or you lose all your week progress → imagine you have to go toilet once a week → bim ! you did 499k honor because you had to go toilet once a week and lose it all… thats pure insanity system that reward only brainwashed people who sit in AV 24/24 7/7 killing a PvE boss, with Cartman’s mom behind with portable toilet

Yes there is. There is no de-ranking but you do decay your honor back to the start of your current rank.
This pvp system has been around for so long, with a blue post that explained it in depth. How are we even discussing it still
Anyone who says the new honor system is “free r14” basically has never hit r14, pre or post change.
It’s definitely not the obstacle that the old system was, but it still requires a somewhat full-time approach unless you have a constant pre-made (with a high win-rate) all hours of a few days.
This is incorrect.
They also removed the rank point decay. You now either progress, or remain where you are if you do not meet the minimum threshold to gain rank points.
They did this a long time ago and you can read the post at length in the link above, not sure why I have to explain this to you still.
