I sure bet that varies for every individual that plays the game.
I don’t personally like it nor dislike it. I simply do it when it’s necessary, and others have whispered me when they needed a tank (I play a Frost DK), and I’m ok with that.
I’m against that; but I remember it happened when I used to use RDF back in retail.
If I’m farming heroic gear, I’d like to assume I would have cold weather flying by then; so no, I wouldn’t mind, the scenery is beautiful -I swear I’m not trolling, I truly admire the landscape.
I’m somewhat talkative during dungeon runs; so yes, I greet people and thank them, or ask them questions about a fight, etc.
Same answer as before, about the whispers. I don’t mind it, I don’t dislike it.
If I’m in Azeroth, I take that time to get snacks, bio break, etc. I don’t play in a hurry. It doesn’t take that long in Northrend or Outlands.
We don’t know what’s going on on their end; recently, I had to go away from my computer because an earthquake hit the city. So I give them some time to finish whatever they might be doing.
I’ve never done that, so I don’t have an answer.
I use my hearthstone after a dungeon.
I use alt + up, not too much of a hassle, to be honest.
A little miscommunication happens not that often, so I don’t mind it.
I usually ask them if they want to run a specific dungeon, or if we can run more than one, or the same a few more times.
It depends on the dungeon, how far I am, if I’m on a quest that gives a reward I want or need; my answer depends on a case to case basis.
Considering there are thousands of people playing on some servers, I don’t mind it; I add people I get along with so I can run dungeons or do quests with them again.
The gamestyle and overall experience of PvP and PvE are different. I wouldn’t put them in the same category. In any case, I don’t like it nor I dislike; I don’t have an opinion on this one.
If some guild use it internally, good for them. But I dislike this practice.
If I get asked beforehand, then I can decide if I agree or not. If I don’t agree, I leave the group and look for another one.
Not that I particularly like it, but it happens from time to time.
To be honest, I don’t remember this mechanic, so I can’t comment on this.
You are guiding answers and manipulating information with this one. Let’s see… two things ruined the game for me starting in Cataclysm: 1) content and leveling becoming too easy; 2) RDF; not the only reasons, but the major ones. I don’t particularly blame RDF: I blame how people used the tool, and how they behaved while in a dungeon. It also changed the dynamics of the dungeons.
Back in the day, it was a change, a new feature; we didn’t know the extent of the consequences by then.
I’m talking from my perspective only; I cannot claim it was praised, nor deny it.
I do my best not to call people names, nor use adjectives. I don’t mind getting to the stone first and helping with the summon.
It doesn’t necessarily encourage casuals, but I can see how it can encourage shy, introvert or people with social anxiety use it.
That’s another assumption; I don’t refresh LFG every 5 seconds. I queue, advertise from time to time on LFG and carry on with whatever I was doing and patiently wait. Running a dungeon is not a must.
An exaggeration, no matter how you see it. I’m a patient person, so I don’t mind it.
No, I don’t like it. But this has nothing to do with RDF because I had been kicked out of groups even when I used to play retail.
Be amazed that I don’t mind how things are. I’m not trolling, this is the way I play and interact with others.
People play on their own accord, and everyone’s time is valuable. I offer others my patience and time because I don’t know what’s going on with them. I play on my free time, so I’m rarely in a hurry to do “x” or “y” content. I enjoy interacting with others, regardless if it’s on a game, in real life, or wherever.
WoW isn’t a fast food place, nor an express service.
