We have a 50% buff for a month. It didn’t take very long at all. I think y’all overestimate how long it takes.
Im not answering it the way you want because its a loaded question when your leaving out a vast amount of things that lead up to forming a whole group

you are leaving out the expectations and requirements of groups you want to join.

You are trying to say that gate keeping exists but it does not, becuase when you get 5 people who want to do a dungeon, nothing can gate keep them from doing it.
Just because it takes a long time to get those 5 people, is not gate keeping, its just means it takes a long time to do something.

You can make your own party and form your own group, to get your own people in that you want to play with or will play with you. It might take time, that sucks but its not gate keeping.

Guess what happens when i wanna do a dungoen? I and thousands of others, go and make a group and start asking who wants in, some times people join, some times people dont. Thats not gate keeping.

What it really takes is literally opening up a tab, and listing your group then asking.
I went from a boosted warrior, to almost all BiS pre raid gear, so yes i know what it takes because i do it, and did it, and still do it.
Its not hard, you are just not willing to put in the effort for it.
Gate keeping is not an issues because its never existed in wow, its in your head.
Not wanting to play with someone is not gate keeping, if an entire server does not want to play with you, then the problem is you, not them.
You cant FORCE someone to play with you.
I opened up a group last night to do UK and iut took us 2 hours till we decided to three man it because nobody else wanted to join it because we had one boosted character who did just fine. or people where expecting us to be full raid geared to do it.

Again, i stand as an antithesis to everything you are trying to claim exists. I boosted, i made random groups, i got BiS pre raid, what you are trying to say happens is not actually happening. You are just objectively wrong and you just cant accept that.

There is no gatekeeping, you are 100% just upset that people are refusing to play with you, thats not gate keeping. You cant MAKE someone play with you, and just because they dont want to, does not mean they are wrong for not wanting to.

They dont wanna play with you because your gear is not up to their standards? thats not gate keeping, thats called having a set of standards for who they want to play with. you dont meet them? Then you dont play with them.
If im playing retail and im trying to push 2000 arena rating, and i say, i will only play with someone who is 1800 raiting or higher, because only 1800 rating players will be able to play on the level i need them to, is that gate keeping?
you are straight up the type of person that someone could come to you about being domestically abused and you would turn around and go “you cant be abused if you just leave”
