Whats truly great for everyone in the WoW community is that the GDKP ban is working incredibly well. Dramatic decreases in RMT and botting across SoD Servers. No one and i mean no one even mentions GDKP via in-game chat anymore. They know the community dislikes GDKP. Go elsewhere for your Swiping p2w. retail has swiping. go there.

If this “majority” can’t sustain their regular pug runs and blames the popularity of GDKPs, something here does not compute.

I pugged just fine when GDKPs were in, I pug just fine now.

I am extremely glad GDKP is gone. It is a bastion of RMT, illicit gameplay, and inflation.

The 4-5 people I know who quit SoD because they banned GKDP all bought gold by the truckload. However they still claim theyll come back if they bring back GDKP.

What else do you want them to do? Blizz rarely if ever reneges on decisions. And since they have already said there was things trending in the right direction, I would say that’s at least verifiable enough to suggest they are fine with keeping it banned in the same way they killed Chaos Bolt.

There’s all kinds of decisions we disagree with, but if you see people protesting Chaos Bolts closure 3 months after it was done, then we can bring this up again. Otherwise, don’t be intentionally obtuse that these posts are nothing of substance and nothing will come of it.

A big issue is the people making those pro-gdkp threads and posts are likely players that were benefitting in USD from illicit gold via GDKP. They want it back because they were making enough gold via GDKP and selling that gold for USD. Do not believe them when they say, “i dont even gdkp”.

*Based on the feedback given in the interview today (2/6/24) combined with the fact that this post has over 1k comments and over 10k views I think it is safe to say they’ve read this feedback and have remained committed to the strawman argument against GDKP.
The legitimate GDKP player feedback does not appear to be valued. I’m cancelling all 4 of my wow subscriptions.

AT THE VERY MINIMUM, if you remove any numbers related to GDKP/RMT, the simple fact the majority wanted it gone makes it a simple math equation. MORE PEOPLE who wanted GDKP gone is MORE MONEY they will keep making.
