I have been a paladin main for 80% of my time in game.

Was druid for BFA/SL and the start of DF but that’s about it.

I’m…play what I find fun at the moment.

Been playing Feral since BFA when it was in its worst iteration

I consider myself loyal to Holy Priest and don’t see myself switching no matter what.

I generally stick to 1 class an entire expansion and reroll the next.

With that said I am not super happy with BrM and Blizzard buffed a few WW AoE talents so much they are must takes in ST in season 2 (current ptr tuning). MW feels alright to me.

I’ve maimed a shaman since MoP. I e noticed in TWW the shammy population had skyrocketed. We are definitely the Fotm class.

Neither. Just lazy. Too lazy to learn another class.

I play whatever suits my fancy, but dont abandon alts. The core team is always there, and the ones who have the core primary professions are the ā€œmainsā€ no matter what content they play.

It’s more that I get bored of a certain playstyle so have to switch it up. Some alts feel good or bad to play, not always sure why.

I was loyal to paladin up until this season, then I had to join anew guild to be able to raid, given my old guild wasn’t rotating their bench at all. So I made the swap to shaman and plan to ride that for the time being, with pres evoker as my alt. I do plan to learn elemental this coming season so I can flex as need between healer and DPS, but if the time ever comes again, it I would like to go back to my paladin.

I have 7 80s, but druid and mage are my mains. I play them both equally, and have since late Cata when I started playing WoW.

My go to class is getting gutted prot warrior so I’ll focus on my dk next season

I play this every season and is my only 80.

I play all 6 tanks but will never ā€œmainedā€ a meta tank class i always prefer the mid to bottom teir (always fun to play a ā€œbad classā€ good) i finally got to put some seat time into my vdh and although its looking like they are going to be meta again i may ride it out because i rather enjoy the reaver tank playstyle

This has been my main since vanilla and I doubt that will ever change. I would rather play a class that I really love even if it’s not ā€œmetaā€ vs forcing myself to play a meta class but not enjoying the fantasy or playstyle. Feels kind of silly to constantly chase the meta unless you are a CE raider or pushing super high keys, which I do neither of (AOTC/KSH every season is good enough for me and my lifestyle).

FOTM? I’m sorry, what does that mean? I get it contextually but can’t figure out the abbreviation lol.

I toon hop a lot, but it’s to what I feel like playing, not because it’s meta.

Flavor of the month, aka whats doing the most dam, healing, etc. at a given time.

That’s exactly what I do. Most of the time I do Drood but I never do something that isn’t fun. I’ve decided, it’s a game and I should be having fun no matter what. If that means easy content only and switching characters, that’s what I’ll do lol.

Ty for clarifying for me!

I like Spriest, Demo Lock, Havoc DH, BM Hunter, Disc Priest, and Resto Shaman.

I kind of just jump around playing those things.

I’ve been playing Resto Druid since vanilla. It’s hard to imagine playing anything else at this point. It is liberating though, not feeling the need to chase FOTM. Not only do I not play any other class, I don’t even play any other spec.

Every once in a while I do get a small itch to try something else. Usually I’m back on my Druid in 6 hours or less.

That said, there aren’t many negatives. I play enough to stay ahead of the gear curve and healers are pretty much always in demand, even the non-FOTM classes.

I don’t feel like I’m at much of a disadvantage either. So many years of playing the same spec makes it easy to play at a high level, and there is a certain satisfaction in significantly outhealing those who rerolled to chase FOTM.
