I’m mixed.
I’m excited for Nazjatar
But not excited if they kill off my queen in a cinematic or turn her into something stupid ruining her character. With Blizzard these days, and their meh writing, you never know

I would be if I wasn’t getting ready for Shadowbringers.
I am mixed as well. I am interested in doing the Gnome heritage questline, but not much else apart from what I do now. Though that may change, only time will tell.
It’s hit or miss for me, but it seems they’re trying to come back. It’s going to take more than a patch to fully have my interest though. We’re still under the same BFA layout.
I’m excited to get on with Pathfinder and get flying.
Im excited to have something to freaking do.
I’m excited to see Lor’themar finally play a big role in the story.
I completely agree XD
I actually am, I re-subbed for WoW beta and to test the PTR build <_< just 1 month! So if 8.2 is decent I might continue playing.
However I will still be playing FFXIV Shadowbringers, either full time if 8.2 is a disappointment or just for the story (which is AMAZING) if 8.2 is really good or split my time if it seems that it redeemed BfA by a little.
I am only excited for flying.
I am not excited for:
It is bad and good.
The bad
Still have to earn AP for the heart.
Still have to wear the AP armor.
Still have to do pathfinder part 2.
The Good
Will get a new area.
Will be able to do pathfinder part 2 and fly.
Will get content that was lacking in BFA expansion.
In the end the AP grind, AP armor and the lack of content are the problems I have with the game.
You can fly in old content now, dont need pathfinder for that.
Just think, pathfinder part 2 will be up and you will be moved to a new zone that flying will not be allowed, even after you complete it. Suppose you will be able to fly in the “old” BFA zones, which will be cool for about 2 seconds…
they said that meaningful class changes will come in patch 9.0 at the earliest and we don’t know yet if they are going to be good or not (they thought WoD, Legion and BfA class changes were good too).
So no I am not excited.
Oi! Tales of Arcadia is incredible! There is no reason NOT to be hyped for Wizards after Trollhunters and 3Below! And Guillermo del Toro is a saint!
}: P
On topic, 8.2 does look to be an improvement for BfA, I just don’t like that we had to wait so long for this expansion to start the process of getting better. I also don’t like how long they withheld flying again, and I still think Azerite is bad but I’m not going to delude myself into believing they’d remove an expansion specific system mid expansion. For now, I’m just going to enjoy the content until I don’t anymore and then unsub. I’m still excited for BlizzCon, though, and hoping for some promising 9.0/next expansion news.
But Gandalf said I shall not pass.
You can fly in the new zones as a side note.
Gandalf is all dried up and pruny. It’s Merlin’s time to shine.
Sadly, no. It’s taken too long to drop. I wanted flying months ago for leveling alts, and now I don’t care about leveling them. I’m more interested in Classic, but that will probably be a flash in the pan nostalgia trip since I played Vanilla.
I’m not excited. I logged in to the PTR and started questing in Nazjatar. I was playing a character with ilvl around 330, so really bad gear. It was still trivially easy, because they give you an NPC companion that kills everything for you. Then the first quest sequence gave me a weapon upgrade that took me from a 320ish weapon to a 370 weapon. It was boring before the weapon upgrade, and continued to be boring after. Why would I want to play that?
But Merlin said he was a fraud.
