I have had numerous people on the forums threaten to do this to me. Here’s an example:

I can literally get you suspended at the drop of a hat just by abusing RCR, I’ve done it before, not you personally though; this happens with streamers, most prominently.

then after two hours of trying to get me suspended he came up with excuses. Literally said he could have it happen at the drop of a hat, then went on to say the opposite:

Things like this do not happen at the drop of a hat but it appears he wanted to put pressure on me in some attempt to prove me wrong.

There’s been a couple other guys who said they would get their PvP discord servers to ban me. I’d log in, go afk and wait. Nothing ever happens because PLAYERS CANNOT AUTOMATICALLY BAN OTHER PLAYERS.

Imagine believing Blizzard has given this, THIS community the ability to police themselves and ban each other if they so choose. It’s less of a stretch to believe the Earth is flat, seriously.

Players cannot ban other players, no matter how much you’ve let gravel chomping streamers gaslight you into believing it.

This was implemented during WoD and has been abused by certain sections of the game community ever since. It is very well documented and has been extensively tested by members of the community, not just streamers. It’s real, we all know it’s real, and it needs to change.
