wouldn’t they just take rdruid instead? clone strong
Hpal being strong with mage is probably the worst combo we could see as bop covers their biggest weakness vs physical and mage typically has enough of their own trash buffs to help protect it so it actually sticks longer than a second, hpal brings the stun for kill target when the healer gets sheeped, and chasing a mage that’s constantly getting freedoms is tilting af.

if fire mage is going to do the highest damage in the game at the cost of a minor amount of health having freedom bop and sac actually makes the game miserable
um yes, i have my Augvoker and Mage ready to go.
Hpal and frost mage are my toons for the expansion. I will be super excited if both are S tier after patch

Ideally all specs would be good, but not really possible unless Blizzard treats wow pvp as a priority/standalone game.
I’m more or less talking about the too common sentiment of “they were bad for a while, let them be broken for a while” and “they were broken X seasons ago, leave it in the gutter.”

It is! But I dont mind buffs to mage/dk/ww tbh, should help shake up the meta.
I dont play my pally, but i did level a mage for fun just to find out a couple weeks later they were getting booded. Then Im excited for aug since ive played that type of type of character in every mmo ive ever played.
Im pretty set.
