Thank you for your response. you’re also 2k io and aotc only, if you’re spending your time progging the mythic raid or pushing keys you get little to no valorstone on top of that you’re not getting that many upgrades to begin with. I’ll quote what you missed below:

Just get rid of valorstones all together. If I have the crests farmed for an upgrade, clearly I’m capable/have done an appropriate level of content to earn the gear. Why do I need an arbitrary secondary currency to farm on top of the crests?

So that people don’t farm a +2 and then upgrade an item all the way to BiS, like in season one of DF.

My problem is not that valorstones don’t fall for characters that you play all the content with in world. The problem is that those characters are quickly capped and soon the problem is lack of gilded crests, but then you play alts and do not want to grind everything again and if you have renown, you get an overabundance of crests from renown and a lack of valorstones. That is why people are frustrated; you have two characters/one player and cannot upgrade either without more grinding.
