Are we goona discuss Kalimdor and EK being on severely different servers?

When it started, Kali kept crashing, the same thing continued to happen at the end of the beta, with EK not doing it nearly as much. This seems very disproportionate and if this bleeds into Classic, I guess I’m rolling Ally.

Undead are in Eastern Kingdoms. Until mid twenties I think. If you still wanted horde.

I was getting disconnected all the time yesterday too. It took me like an hour to do two quests in the Echo islands.

a) Night Elves are on Kalimdor, Undead are on Eastern Kingdoms.

b) Likely there were more people in Durotar than Loch Modan, and more in Elwynn Forest than Mulgore, but on launch that’ll only be for the first day or so before everyone spreads out to all zones.

c) The entire purpose of this stress test was to see where the servers crashed. Therefore the servers are going to crash unless they failed to invite enough people.

d) In Vanilla, the continents crashed independently. When we gave up trying to view the AQ event, we all hearthed to IF and waited it out on EK.

Any assessment that Alliance have an easier time in Live because the stress test server crashed more on Kalimdor, is drawing such a long bow it may as well be a tree.

I have a buddy who was playing in Mulgore. It was disconnecting a lot for him too.

Yeah, that’s Kalimdor. It was going up and down like a metaphor I’m not allowed to say here.

Im sure they are aware.

It also was not like this during test 1, at least not for my time leveling a Shaman.

Yeah, the servers where a lot less stable. I think it might be two reasons. More people or people spreading out more into different zones, or a combination of both.

Well, that and the point of the stress test was to test it beyond its normal capacity. I wouldn’t be surprised it they dialled down the work units and memory etc for the test to ensure it did break on strain.
