Simple question. I remember there being arena battles in late vanilla, but I don’t remember if they were released with the BC pre-patch (when they expanded talent trees to the BC talents) or before then. I assume if they came with the BC pre-patch we won’t be getting them on the Classic servers but I’m not sure.
Arena was introduced after 1.12. So, no to arena in Classic™.

Yeah I looked at it but only saw one reply discussing arenas, and it wasn’t a firm answer.

You may be remembering arranged battles in the Gurubashi Arena, which was a popular pastime on some servers.

Arenas give me Cancer lol. I believe that’s when Blizz started to come up with the mentality that the “classes aren’t balanced”.

Nope. They were BC. Also, they were terrible, stupid and began the demise of pvp in WoW.

I remember having Arenas in the pre patch as something for us to do until the expansion dropped. It won’t be in Classic though.
They should adon duels, and make group duels.
