My question is does it stack with a whetstone. If it stacks with the stone then yes farm it. Is it better than 469 attack power for 1 hour. It lasts for 2 hours. It procs at an ok rate and it does 80k damage that increases per enemy hit. Rogue masters let us know

According to “Akajry” on wowhead comments:
It works the same way as weapon runes in Dragonflight, so it stacks with your standard poisons and can be applied to both your MH and OH weapon if you so wish.
So it’s basically a buzzing rune or that same type of item buff.

Is it better or worse than the rune was my question ? One provides periodic damage the other affects auto attack damage.
Not sure yet. From what I can understand atm it’s likely it might be balanced as a superior option for assassination, but not as good for sub or outlaw with less poison applications.
Sims will bear it out im sure but probably have to wait for that.
