From where I’m sitting, they already did that. Which, I suppose, raises another possibility: They spell out “we’re going with 1.12 Alterac Valley, stop asking” and some people find a way to parse what they said into “we’re thinking it over.”
(To be clear, I’m a supporter of 1.5 Alterac Valley; I deliberately chose an example where I would be disappointed.)
Yeah, I know. I’ve been waiting to see you type those words for a long time and even with indisputable evidence that you’re wrong, it still hasn’t happened.
I know I argue a lot on these forums, including with you in the past, but nothing beats concrete proof.
At the end of the day, no matter how many debating opponents we have on these forums, we’re all trying to hash out one common interest, which is a game we all love and want.
I’d be happy to play Classic with any of the folks I’ve been across the table from on these forums.
Doesn’t matter if Blizzard has already “confirmed” this. You and I know people are still on these forums trying to argue that it shouldn’t be released day 1. They will continue to post until Blizzard does a full release of some type of hard schedule and even than until the game is actually released.
Currently their is zero bad press for Classic other than we know nothing. Once Blizzard starts to release things bad press will follow if what they have are not what people or even if they can’t give the majority what they want.
The worst case scenario is Blizzard fixes minor things from the demo, but at the end what we get is nearly 90% of what the Classic demo offered. From these forums a lot of people will be very upset with that.
“Every time” meaning this as the first and only time you’ve wandered in here (on that character at least) from GD? GD being the kindest, warmest, most welcoming place?
Yeah which is exactly why they won’t tell you until the game is ready to be released. They want people to be hyped up as much as possible to the point even when you think you will not play the game is just 2 weeks away from releasing you might still just try it.
The goal is to get as much people as possible to log on day one so they can report numbers.
