Are we allowed to trade Retail gold for classic gold?

plain and simple.
Got a few buddies from retail guild who stopped playing Classic.

I stopped playing retail after Season 3 of Shadowlands. Got tons of gold left overs.

I see people advertise this in discords all of the time. You cannot RMT gold but you can trade it for whatever you wish to trade it for as it’s yours. Be it into gold in another game like RuneScape or gold in a different version of WoW.

Thankfully no. This would actually be cancer if it was ever made possible

You can. It doesn’t violate TOS until you decide to pay someone with real money for said gold but if you trade your retail gold for someones Classic Gold there’s nothing against that.

You are allowed to do it. Blizzard won’t reimburse you if you get scammed, but they will take action against players that scam.
