Are we all getting soft in our old age?

I don’t know if its the layering but I play on a PvP server and we are all carebears including myself

ive been ganked a few times this whole time…ZERO times in STV. This is not what I remember

I think once the PvP system comes out, things will change. There’s really no incentive to just mindlessly slaughter the opposition currently. Other than lol’s. But those get old quick.

When there’s as many people in zones as there currently are it’s a poor choice to gank others because it will lead to revenge kills, and possibly revenge camping. Or your 1v1 can suddenly turn into a 2v1, or 3v1 and not in your favor.

I’m too busy to gank.

Everytime I get ganked by an Alliance I tell myself I’m storing my rage for phase 2.

I’ve done a lot more /waving with Alliance than PvP.

Hah people are jumping on me left and right so I blow off steam doing the same to others. Hate when my safety traps get resisted.

Stranglethorn Vietnam and the warzone known as Tanaris are thriving on my server

My server is a bloodbath.

Level 33, I’ve gotten in fights but it’s mostly been level 40 and 50+'s, very few even level fights except in groups. People get bloodlust in groups though, and places like the Yeti caves are the rare warzone.

I don’t play on a pvp server, though I have on accident aggressed faction npcs inducing pvp. for pve they like to stealth around yellow usually one with backup on standby waiting for the word on discord hoping for a tabbed target fail or walk into your aoe stealthed. lol, the little games are fun indeed though. I enjoy the effort and appreciate it.

People are trying to hit lvl 60 before phase 2. PvP is fun for an hour or so but I would rather spend my time leveling when there is nothing to gain from killing the opposing faction right now.

That being said, GL and godspeed to anyone still trying to lvl in phase 2.

You haven’t seen the Badlands of Incendius. Level 48 paladins ganking level 40’s, mages sheeping warriors and endlessly kiting them around, rogues ripping you to shreds out of nowhere, mass hysteria.

A rogue tried to jump me in the Badlands. Then ran away.

I like a good 1v1 fight, or even a higher level trying to kill me if only to practices getting away. I have also been known to randomly sheep other players for kicks and giggles. Things are going to be fun in p2 when half the players aren’t ready for the bloodbath.

Edit: I’m level 43

It just doesn’t make sense to gank if others aren’t ganking you. It turns into a big waste of time. Nothing is gained.

I’m definitely a carebear, lol… I rerolled on a non-pvp server. <3

Holy… What server are you on? Skeram is out-of-control with ganking / counterganking.

While it’s been a lot of fun, there are some zones that Alliance can barely quest in (to be fair - Horde has a bad spot or two, as well).

Can’t do anything on my server unless you’re rolling at least 3 deep!

Well you’re Horde- there’s no Alliance in zones because they’re all in dungeons to avoid the 2:1 ratio. Also, you aren’t going to see many ganks from leveling Alliance even if they are in a zone where they’re massively outnumbered, because they know trying it will get them camped by 5+ Horde.

As one of the crazy ones that is questing as Alliance on a pvp server- I don’t see many Alliance around, and so far I’ve had three players my level’ish try to solo gank me, and even then two of them were while I was fighting another mob and at a huge disadvantage.

While there’s been a few hundred ganks from groups of 3+, players that were skull level to me, entire parties, etc… If you were hoping players would try to gank you, you picked the wrong faction- the Horde’s pretty much won the outdoor zones on most pvp servers already, and honour’s not even out yet.

Bro idk what server you play on, but I’ve been ganked literally everywhere in Azeroth, especially STV lol. Also it could have something to do with you being on the horde. I know my server feels grossly out of balance in favor of the horde. They’re everywhere, all the time. I actually went to do the fishing quest one day when I hit 35 in Swamps and was fishing in the area to catch the quest fish. Literally on an island, by myself, and some random horde rogue ganked me out there. Lol. It’s rough.

This is exactly how it goes. The ganking begins when people roll alts. They gank when they have less to do

Reason why I avoid most pvp encoutners atm … Leveling Druid tries to gank me… I slaughter him /spit /lol … Druid comes back with shaman… I have a ally rogue next to me… we slaughter them… Druid and shaman come back with warrior, warlock and a priest… now we get ganked for 5 minutes… we have backup come in… now this is all fun…super fun…however I just lost 2 hours in leveling and at 30 years old that 2 hours means alot…were not kids anymore so can’t just sit there and waste time killing for lulz.
