Are vrykuls still having human babies?

Not the most lore-savvy person. There are still vrykuls out there, right? So are they still having deformed vrykul babies aka humans? Can there be a human out there that has vrykul parents? If yes, would they drop them off at Stormwind or what? lol

If they can’t have human babies anymore, why not?

Vrykul absolutely despise humans and King Ymiron ordered the newborns to be killed 15,000 years ago. I assume because they were hated so much, the vrykul just don’t give birth anymore.

We killed them all in Wrath to my knowledge. If any do remain, they would be too few in number to pose a threat or revive their species on their own.

I would assume they would throw it off a mountain or eat it

I’d wager all the ones who weren’t okay with killing their children are long gone (established Human kingdoms) and if they are still having human children they probably are killing them off.

Not sure if that might be the case, but certainly agree that…

Meanwhile in Stormheim…

Sir, this is Blizzard Entertainment.
We don’t talk about women, pregnancy, or even the idea of sexual reproduction existing here.

Babies come from Cabbage Patches and are delivered by storks.

NOOO, we should find them and adopt them before they can kill them :frowning:

Most of the Humans from Vrykul Clans came from Northrend, so if you want a more friendly outcome, you could say the 7th Legion is still up there stemming any roaming undead or dangerous factions and are rescuing said children from a bad fate.

.-. tried to make it more rosey for you.

It is hard to say tbh. Nearly all humans came from vrykul clans that lived in Northrend and nearby areas, such as Trisfal Glades (this is before the Sundering). The Vrykul in Stormheim though do not seem to produce human children, instead just regular Vrykul children. As Skovald killed his father, brothers and mother shortly before and following Gul’dans and the Legions arrival to the Broken Shores. We even encounter Skovalds son and daughter. The latter of which now leads the Tideskorn Vrykul after we prevented her from going down the same dark path as her father.

We don’t know what exactly allowed the Tideskorn Vrykul to be unaffected by the mutated curse of flesh that affected their northrend cousins. Either it didn’t mutate at all, or Odyn did something to reverse the process. We know other titanforged tried to find solutions to the curse of flesh problem. Such as Mogu placing their souls into Stone Constructs or a group of Vol’vir that allied with Deathwing, where Siamat, one of the Four Winds reversed the curse.

So an answer to your question is most likely no. Simply because nearly all the Northrend Vrykul were wiped out in Wrath. Those that remain are the female dominated Ice Vrykul clans that are loyal to Thorim. Meanwhile the Stormheim Vrykul were not affected by the mutated curse of flesh. As evidenced by Skovald and his family.

I believe they still do and we see in Stormheim that the leader of the Vrykul killed his brother and his mother. So they are having children and those children are born Vrykul. It appears that the curse of flesh has done the intended damage and Vrykul now have children who are Vrykul.

The Northrend Vrykul are now more or less rebuilt as seen in the Explore Northrend book and for the most part they just leave people alone. They maybe having children again, but just don’t know.

They corrected the bug in their 3D printing software so it’s not an issue anymore
