Are void elf dk's the most powerful?

On average, compared to other generic dk’s. Having mastery of the void, now with added resistance of being undead, it seems to me that a void elf dk just out-classes their contemporaries. A master of shadow and undeath.

Yeah you better believe i’m race changing come 8.3 boi :muscle:t6: :muscle:t6:  :boom: :boom: :boom: :boom:

lore wise… im not sure? A void elf alive has whispers from the void but when dead do they lose all connection? They are technicly against the void now.

While they’re alive they already were against the void, they fight fire with fire. Reaching 110 as a void elf and receiving the heritage armor, Alleria remarks basically saying that you’ve proven the doubters wrong, implying you’ve not waivered under the void whispers.

Absolutely not. I’ll break them in half :rage:

lightforged dks. Master of the light, master of death. Scarlet crusade were just wannabes.

Void elves regardless of class are seen to open up portals and conjure void creatures for limited time. They’re like a class of their own, but a race. Kind of the opposite approach blizzard took to demon hunters. I think a tauren could beat a void elf in an arm wrestling match, but a void elf just seems more haxed

Void Elf DKs lose their connection to the void sorry to break your bubble, but you’ll just be an Elf DK not even a superior Blood Elf.

interesting point.
i guess if we want to wrap our heads around it lore wise they dont have to deal with the whispers anymore as a deathknight.

Any DK ever.

Non-descript, point invalidated

Undead are shown to be affected by void, they’re just more resistant to it. There’s nothing stopping a void elf from resuming their studies after being risen as a DK. Undead shadow priest says a big hello btw

Many assume magical connections are gifted to them instead of channeled. Silencing those voices in your head leave allows you to utilize entirely new abilities.

Sure you can RP that but thats not how your character will be.

The very reason why there are no Paladin Forsaken or why Lightforged Draenei Death Knights will also be no longer Lightforged.

Heres the thing. Her point is valid.
The void elf died there is only a deathknight now.
The reason i state this is because during the 55 starter for deathknights they have a massive story line about a past life pre arthas and all of that being lost.

Right, their life was lost. As in they lost their friends, their way of life etc. Not their genetic make up. A worgen (who is also more resistant to undeath btw) remained a worgen. The curse was not removed or purged.

edit: to note the worgen curse is a form of life magic, which is on the opposite side of the spectrum to death magic (obviously)

You’ll keep your slick void elf looks but you’ll lose your connection to the void.

Just like a Paladin loses their connection to the light.
A hunter loses their connection to nature.

blizzard plot holes are kinda massive arnt they but we cant just be like " lel no worgen deathknights "
i dont think undeath magic and void magic can be workable in the same host body but no plot has been created in game. Maybe they will bring it up? idk

Kind of correct about that.
Humans using the most powerful Druid form makes far less sense than a Void Elf Death Knight.

Also to point out the a Undead Creatures made out of pure Shadow.

Genetically the corpse will still be a void elf, as they were permanently physiologically changed. The corpse will not change upon being risen as a DK. Nothing stops them from practising void magic.

What you’re putting forth is just conjecture.

Functionally and physically they’re still void elves

I imagine a worgen died as a worgen his wolf body got ressed into a DK and thats how they are Worgen DKs the fact they can switch between forms indeed a plothole.
