Get an Atomic Recallibrator toy; it will allow you to change to a variety or race/gender combinations and the change will stick for an hour, even through death. Try out Troll on your existing priest and see how you like it.
I’m focused around RP and pvp this guy with this epac, but I’ve done keys in the past and other expansions.
funny enough actually, in BfA running Atal’Dazar with pug groups the Rezan fight would often be a wipe because people failed to udnerstand the mechanics, but I was using my Night elf Priest and using shadow meld to break targeting when he was about to catch me after pursue actually won the fight for us more than once. Racials do matter, and can make a difference on any level of play.

But saying racials have no impact is still outright false, because they do, weather it’s conveniance like Nightborne postbox summon, simply fun to use like Kul’tiran punches off a cliff, or a mechanical advantage like rogues with shadowmeld for restealth openers. They do have an impact.
If that was true this thread wouldn’t exist. Since less that 1% of the players play on a competitive level. And yet, here we are.

I think its one of the best race for Shadow in PvE.
The AOE silence for blood elf is very handy in M+, especially as a priest since disc doesn’t get an interrupt, shadow’s interrupt sucks, and holy does have one but an AOE one is nice. No idea about raiding but I’d bet the troll racial is probably best for raiding.
Blood elves don’t have the AoE silence anymore. It’s a Dispel or was that changed back?

I like void elf with the small dmg increase plus the mobility thing if thinking about mobility racials

Sadly, still a dispell… It can dispell Blessing of Protection but it’s RNG if they have multiple buffs for which one you purge, so unless you’re a melee class that’s allready in melee range then it’s often not worth the risk of getting in close to use it. (can using it during hunter’s turtle though without breaking turtle) It’s more used now for resource gain, or niche uses in pvp. A lot weaker than it used to be.
Play a Zandalari.
I love Zandalari, think they look much better, and Gift of Akunda would be a solid racial for a healer, and Pterrordax Swoop is always fun to have even if it’s cooldown is excessive.
But regenerate is usless on a healer really…
Normal Trolls having a 10% haste steroid every 3 min is still a solid ability for healers, when the whole party takes a hit and you need to heal up everyone fast pop that 10% and go to town with your healing.
Both solid picks for healer racials tbh.
