I did bwl trying to get some transmog ive always wanted but didnt have the desire to farm week after week… got my whole judgement set on two different characters neither of them paladin, and its not showing that i have them when i try to apply them to transmog of paladin… look in appearance log and its not showing up that i have them there either? I tried selling one piece that I got a double of to see if I had to sell the item for it to count as added to my appearances and it did not add that piece to my appearances available on my paladin.
One caveat to the whole system is class specific items won’t work with it, they still have to be found on that class
Tokens will be warbound though
The Warbands article says you cannot collect class set piece on different classes.
so the thing you actually want to farm is not available?? thats just the dumbest thing ive ever heard
From the Mr GM interview, it sounds as if there’s a bunch of reasons, including technical, that’s going to take time to figure out in order to get it unlocked. They did get tier tokens to be Warbound. But they’ll need to go back and do the same for all tier pieces, which is going to take time. They plan on continuing to work on all of this. So it’s not just one and done. Gotta give it time.
and they did tokens mostly starting in like… tbc?
I saw a YT video where they claimed you could add it to the warband bank as a workaround and then claim it on that class, but, I am not sure if that’s totally accurate, and the warband bank is not working currently, so there’s no way to find out. I agree however, I don’t understand why there is a class restriction on it - I would think simply removing the class restriction on the legacy tier pieces would be the easiest and most forward way to resolve it.
Fun fact, I did find out earlier that vendoring BOE gear will also add it to your collection… I was equipping stuff, swapping it back out and then vendoring, but you don’t have to do that, and you get the appearance even for BOE’s that are not your armor type.
Heck, even if the issue is the class designation that they can’t get around because of technical reasons - why not simply replace the asset/model with an identical replica that doesn’t have the class limitation - just like a recolor skin… as long as they name the asset the same thing “Judgement_Legs.jpg” or whatever it’s called, it should work without issue.
Most pieces have this already. Not all, but a lot of them.
But I think they need to go down the list and just make the tier pieces Warbound.
Oh my goodness you just saved my so m uch time!
